add Dell in into the mix you get....expensive crap.
I've been using a A920 for about a year and very happy about it. Serves my humble needs and I use it pretty regularly. Care to elaborate on your comments?

I've been using a A920 for about a year and very happy about it. Serves my humble needs and I use it pretty regularly. Care to elaborate on your comments?Dell and Lexmark printers are notorious for poor performance, poor reliability, and very expensive ink costs.
One of the things people don't consider when making a printer purchase is the ink cost. Remember, pprinter manufacturers make the most money on ink, not on the printer. That's why printers are given for free with some PC purchases. When taking ink cost into consideration, a printer with higher price but low ink cost might be better than a printer with low price but expensive ink. just my 2 cent.
Having said that, I think this is stil a good deal on an AIO machine.
I was under the impression that you can only use Dell cartridges with Dell printer and the lexmark cartridge would not work due to minor circuitry alterations.
Try this link or this for example. It is a lexmark and says that cartridge can be used with Dell A940.
So, a non-Dell cartridge can also be used on this printer. Right? Or, am I missing something? If I read things right, other companies' refill kits can be used to refill Dell cartidges, but you're still stuck with Dell cartridges, right? Anyone have experience refilling these?
run, I repeat, RUN away from LEXMARK. Crappy product and insane prices for refil carts. I am a huge Dell fan, but they REALLY screwed up picking lexmark as their printer supplier.
sold out but was a good deal as the price of the ink that is included is worth the price alone...The ink can be fleabayed for $55 all by itself plus the obcene shipping fees
This is just my experiences with my Dell 940. Works great, I did run out of ink fairly quickly though. Yes the generic refill kits at WalMart will work. I also have another lexmark printer and tried to use the cartridge from it on the Dell. The plastic covers that hold down the cartridge into the printer are different as the is the bumps on the top of the cartridge. This thing works great as a copier and scanner. I just refill the black as it is cheap and easy. And use a different printer for my color needs. Jeff
