Yeah but they probably come with those starter ink cartridges that last about half of what a new one does, just like when you buy any other printer out there.

Holy crap! I was just about to order the 1600n w/ a 35% coupon that came in my email. Instead just ordered 2 of them with the 50% off coupon here. Free ship to boot -- awesome deal! Almost didn't see it buried under the $750 mania at the top of Hot Deals.

I'm looking at the 3100cn. I couldn't really find any reviews. Anyone own one?
Lexmark laser printers, as well as some models distributed by Dell and IBM, present an electric shock hazard. The printers may short-circuit, causing the possibility of injury to consumers. There have been no reported injuries, and the recall was reported voluntarily by Lexmark, IBM, and Dell in cooperation with the CPSC.
The recall includes Lexmark, Dell and IBM brand laser printers. For Dell laser printers, the brand name is on the front of the printer and the model number is inside the front cover. The recall includes the following model numbers: Dell 1700 and 1700n.
Dell promises that customers will have their replacement printer within "3 to 5 business days." As for the warranty, a Dell spokesperson said that it continues from the original purchase date, not when the new printer is received by the consumer. The spokesman added that Dell did not manufacturer the printers, but that they "were brought to market through [its] technology partnership [with Lexmark]."
