when they salvage what exactly do they do with the items???

Salvage - Pulled from shelves, sent it back to manufacturer, or given to Goodwill. I'm sure some of the stuff is just tossed in the trash as well.

What are the items on sale on nov2nd. I am looking for radio/CD player.

alert mods

Bubbly,

Targets' don't open till 0800, so most likely no new deals will be posted before the stores open. Unless, people post deals from the previous day and so on. Also, do realize that all these deals are YMMV (your miles may vary) and your own Target might not have any of these particular items on clearance. My advice to you would to just goto Target and see what you find.

Good luck,

ADOLFO

frugalpete said:~ Henckel 7 pc knife set/block 75% at 14.98 Saw them at 1/2 off, but not thrilled. They're only the Fine edge pro model (ie. not forged). While it is a good price for a basic knife set, if you're looking for the better quality Henckel forged knives, you'll be disappointed.

I'm sure some of the stuff is just tossed in the trash as well.Well, that's what's supposed to happen anyway. Like other clearance items, the holiday stuff goes to 0.00 (salvage) after it's last clearance pricing. You can often find bits and pieces laying around stores a week or more afterward that ring up at .00. The point? None, I guess... well, maybe that with Target you never can tell what will happen. Stuff that's .00, I've had cashiers tell me,
I could just have it (cheap little nothing item),
that they couldn't/wouldn't sell it to me,
that I had to pay regular, full price,
that I could pay what I wanted,
and most often (other than using a LRT to find the last price):
I had to pay the price on the sticker (despite being lower since then).
The morale to the story? Always remove the clearance sticker if it's .00.

D.
