Where is the For Sale and Trade section here?

alert mods

Has anyone gotten their $400 trade-in check? I think they just took my old laptop and sold it on scambay... but forgot to send me the proceeds...

Hi, again, has anyone got your trade in check successfully? Since I shipped my laptop, I have heard nothing except that they received my stuff.

I didn't get anything, how can we do next?

I love this laptop so much I bought a S260 (not the 'P' version) for $1300 AR. I started a FW thread here. It's for someone else...

One month later and still waiting...

Also, anyone who owns this laptop, have you been able to get any of the Sony XP drivers working under Windows 2000 or have you found replacement drivers? I'm busy looking. Thanks.

Finally, anyone get Linux to run on this lappy?

He didnt.

There are alot of people in these forums that post BS just for fun...or dont know what they're posting for that matter. When people post like that its all BS since they have no info to back it up.....

It was an open box item, and the manager has corporate breathing on him about at risk items. this laptop has a hidden partition that restores everything. the only thing i dont like is the fan comes on too often.
