Hard to find any reviews, info about the board?

tempted to jump on this but the fact it has no SATA is kind of a putdown

I doubt it. It says "Supports 400/533MHz host bus speed" and I think the HyperThreading processors are 800mhz bus.

First HT CPU was 3.06GHz @ 533MHz FSB!

Still questionable whether board will recognize it or not...
