Excellent deal! I've been looking for an extra XM Radio for the office and for $69, you can't beat that! Just wish there were some cheap SkyFi home kits (not bundled) I could get. I looked for the closeouts at WalMart mentioned a while back, but no luck. |

I got an e-mail almost instantly
Hmm, I still have no email confirmation after ordering yesterday. Don't want to call and blow it (or blow it for anyone else) yet. What are other's experience, lots seemed to have ordered?
Edit: I know that the last promotional event for xm like this (for roadies I believe) started not shipping after awhile, and they just flat out canceled many orders once they got wise. Call me paranoid. |

paranoid
I ordered Saturday morning around 4am, so I'm pretty sure the computers had nothing else to do but to e-mail me
Like lots of FW deals, you just have to wait.
If I really thought orders would get cancelled I would not have posted this here. I hope they don't. |

This is a great deal. I just priced the Boom Box yesterday at Wal-Mart and it was $84 by itself. |

My WalMart just lowered the price to $64.??
Be sure to save the receipt and box etc....
You may be able to get a price adjustment if they lower the price before a certain peroid of time.
I ordered the boombox combo for my brother to use in his workshop. It should be alot eaiser than rigging up a home kit with speakers (what I do at work). |

Thanks Mong, lucky enough I didn't buy it at Wal-Mart, I wanted to price around first. So, I just placed an order for the $69 Boom Box bundled.
Does anyone know when the activation starts? I am asking cuz it is a Christmas gift. Thanks for any info |

Radios are shipped pre-activated. XM service billing automatically begins on the day your radio is shipped. |

Thanks Frlass & VnJw for the Activation info. It looks like I will be eating the firsts months activation while its sits wrapped up under my tree.
This is to good of a deal to pass up. I already have the older SKYFi model, but I could resist this deal, Especially since my wife was the Boom Box for Christmas. Maybe I will see if one of my friends wants to buy my older unit and car kit to recoup some of the cost.
Does anyone know if the 2 pieces (Boom Box and the receiver) comes packaged together or separately? I am assuming since it says bundle they are in the same box. |
