you'd need the car kit... mainly the dock, cig adapter, and small antenna

the skyfi2 has a built in FM modulator which works out for me since my car doesn't have a cassette deck...

It comes with an AC adapator so there has to be a jack. I'm sure there is a 12V cord you could use. I'll be getting my order today so I'll see what I can find out. You could always use some d batteries but that gets pricey.

I would get the car kit at WalMart for $45.??

Radios are shipped pre-activated. XM service billing automatically begins on the day your radio is shipped.

Thanks Frlass & VnJw for the Activation info. It looks like I will be eating the firsts months activation while its sits wrapped up under my tree.

This is to good of a deal to pass up. I already have the older SKYFi model, but I could resist this deal, Especially since my wife was the Boom Box for Christmas. Maybe I will see if one of my friends wants to buy my older unit and car kit to recoup some of the cost.

Does anyone know if the 2 pieces (Boom Box and the receiver) comes packaged together or separately? I am assuming since it says bundle they are in the same box.
