LOL guess you are not the bedmaker in your house or ever! LOL
The fitted is the bottom sheet with elastic on corners. Top is Flat no elastic. need 1 of each for a set.

lol, didn't know the 'terminology' if you will =) thanks for the heads up! so i need to buy both?? plus pillowcase toO! is it not cheaper to get like a package deal?? lol i just thought it was 13.99 for a whole set! LoL i'm so ignorant... TY!
100% Egyptian Cotton Sheetset (t-shirt material): top sheet, fitted sheet, and two pillowcases + free velux (super soft) blanket. Select the 'Buy Both & Save' option on the page.
$25 off $125 code EVENTKHBBAMZ in kitchen.
As with most codes like this, it counts the 'original' pricing, not the sale total. I bought a king sheet and blanket set and two queen sheet and blanket sets for $69.99 with the extra $25 discount and free shipping.

Sweet! I'm in for the combo set. When summer comes around, I can swap out the thick flannel sheets I have now. Thanks everyone.

I bought 9 Famous Maker 300ct queen fitted @ $13.99 each = $125.91, minus $25 discount, less the AOL $100 gc, final cost .91 Reviews are not that great, but I think it has more to do with the measurement, not being the full 15" depth. Hope these are at least as good as the Wamsutta queen sheets.
Jersey sheet sets may be cheaper and have adequate depth but sometimes pill (loosened fibers form small round balls that are irritating). After several washings, pills may start to appear, depending on the cotton quality and how loosely knitted it is. Same problem with low count woven sheets, because of the loose weaving.

I received Wamsutta 300 ct not Famous Maker, so I'm very pleased.
Just a reminder, today is the last day for the $25 off $125 KB&B sale.
I think Famous Maker means brand name, can be any brand, in this case, Wamsutta. When a store sells at a big discount, sometimes the manufacturer won't allow its brand name to be printed. Macy's sales flyers always have the words "Famous Maker" for their bags and shoes.

Just Cotton...but it's made to be silk like. If you haven't slept in sateen sheets....you don't know what your missing, trust me on that. I bought some Sateen sheets 4 years ago...I refuse to sleep on anything else. I will say that I noticed that I like the striped sateen better than solid's. This deal is a good one...
Do you mean a duvet cover? Those are comforter cases, I suppose.

i dont think it counts the before sale price. I added about 137$ worth of sheets (pre sale price) to my cart and added the coupon and got this error:
Important Message We're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions.
Does "100% egyptian cotton" = some agreed-upon threadcount? hmmm. is it better/equal/worse value than the 300-threadcount...or is it apples & oranges.
(yes yes i know i could google it but i thought the definition of fit & flat sheets was cute).
[edit: added] "Jersey sheet sets may be cheaper and have adequate depth but sometimes pill (loosened fibers form small round balls that are irritating). [edit: added...] Ok, so the general consensus I hear is that Jersey sheets are less, er, ideal. But...I always hear people oohing & aahing over Egyptian Cotton sheets. Soo...could the drawbacks of regular jersey sheets nullify the benefits (whatever they may be) of Egyptian cotton?
I asked a non-FW friend who cooed about the Egyptian Cotton, and recalled having bought 600-threadcount NON-egyptian cotton sheets once and having gotten screwed. But...she didn't know enough about Jersey sheets to give me more info...
Never had santeen sheets but I'd imagine they're like Satin. If so then they're great, I've had nothing but satin sets for my bed and I don't think I can ever go back to cotton sheets. Only problem is during the summer it can get pretty hot, but there's always the A/C.
Not sure if I should start a new thread or just continue this one, but it looks like Amazon is at it again with their "Best Value offers" ... Now you can get twin sets (flat and fitted) for $4.99, and you can get Queen Sets [flat and fitted] for $13.99... just follow the links in the OP's post, scroll to the middle of the page, and you'll see BEST VALUE. If you make the purchase price before discount more then $125.00, you can also use the coupon for $25.00 off. I ordered 5 Queen sheet sets, 13.99 x 5 = $69.95, then applied the $25.00 off coupon, so 5 queen sets were $44.95 or about $9.00 A SET. You get free shipping too. -- Hopefully OP can update the title and such...

What will you do for pillowcases? I want the green one but I doubt I could find a decent color match.
