And it's a different brand, Wamsutta. Plus here's the link for those of you with Cal. King beds. Comes with two extra pillowcases instead of the blanket.
LaidOffTechWorker said: I agree.. I got the Wamsutta jersey sheets and blanket. The sheets are crap, and the blanket is very light weight. I'm too lazy to return though.
I can't speak to quality of the blanket, the deal I got a month or so back was just for the Egyptian Cotton Jersey Sheets and they are the best sheets I have ever used. I like flanel for the winter and the Jersey are perfect for the summer. They give the flannel feeling without the weight.
I would say this is an excellet deal on good sheets, not sure about the blanket.
I posted this on the other thread, but am posting it here also so others can see it; the number for Amazon is 1-800-201-7575.
Check your CC Statement when you get it in the mail or check it online, Amazon overcharged me. They want me to pay nearly $300.00 for what I purchased. I purchased 6 Queen sets @ 13.99 each, 5 Twin Sets @ $4.99 each, and 2 Queen Wamsutta Cotton Jersey Sets @ 24.99 each. I also used the $25 off Coupon, and chose the Free Super Saver Shipping. There is no way in heck my order is $300.00! I emailed them, and got the following response.
I apologize for any misunderstanding. Please know that we charge your credit card only when the item ships. Hence we made a charge according to the shipment.
I've checked your order and see that till yet we've charged $202.76, $54.97 and $22.29 to your crdit card for three shipment. We'll charge the remianing amount as the other item will ship.
I hope this clears the matter. Thank you for shopping at Amazon.com.
I've received most of the sheets, except for the Queen Wamsutta Sets with the Free Blankets. I wasn't planing on using these sheets for awhile, and the first sign of this accounting error came on the packing slip. I sat on the floor and as I removed each sheet from the boxes, I marked each one off on the packing slip; and then from there added up how many sets of each I had purchased. They seem to be charging Full Price for everything and only taking off the $25.00 Coupon. The Order Confirmation email they sent after I ordered had just about everything listed correctly, except somehow a couple of Flat Twin Sheets were on the order without their Fitted mates. I made sure I ordered using the button in the middle of the page that you pushed, so the set of sheets would be added to your cart; I called Customer Service and spent almost 45 Minutes trying to explain to someone in India about the Single Sheets. He finally just said he would credit my Acct $25 for the sheets that weren't including their free mates. I'm not sure if the credit was actually applied at this point. I'm so mad and frustraited! Check the statements for whatever form of payment you used and make sure this hasn't happened to you also!
Update: I called Amazon today, got a nice American Guy who as soon as I told him what my problem was; looked at my order and told me I was exactly right. So they are going to issue a refund to my Credit Card for about $120. I also finally got him to credit me the $25 for the sheets that weren't including their free mates, that the CS Agent in India told me he would apply to the order. Frankly my thoughts are that I deserve the extra $25 discount anyway considering the amount they overcharged me. I'm just glad their mistake didn't put me over the limit on my CC, and I am uber glad I decided against using my Debit Card as I occasionally do on Amazon. This FW member is now a happy camper again!
Remember to always check your CC and Bank Statements!!
