I'm hoping they mark the pillowcases down eventually. That would be nice. In the meantime I get my pillowcases in TJ Maxx or a department store. I only bought neutral sheets so finding close matches is no trouble. Or you can do what other people have suggested and sew them yourself from flat sheets.
thanks op! does anyone know how to return the items I have coming from Amazon already w/o paying return shipping? I got 5 sets for 39.95 (full) and I have three sets coming for around $46. My UPS man might deliver the items just w/o my signature... can I refuse the package after it has been delivered?
So.... is the "famous maker" Wamsutta? Or is "Famous Maker" an actual brandname, and something entirely different? It's kinda difficult to tell from the description for sure - OP, are you sure that these are Wamsutta sheets?

That's why the Wamsutta sheet sets are a better deal. They come with fitted sheet, flat sheet, 2 pillowcases, and bonus Martex vellux blanket.
Famous Maker is a brand name call Famous Maker just like Wamsutta is Wamsutta.
I have both brands and they are practically the same. just different packaging.

Call them and get a price adjustment. Faster than email and more immediate.

The only trouble I have with the ones you linked is they do not mention the thread count. Do you have these? Any idea what the thread count is? TIA
Jersey sheets are like t-shirt material and DO NOT have a thread count.
Ok, but how would you rate the quality? Are they comparable to a 200tc? I am just trying to figure out if jersey sheets are nice. In the past, I have always gone by thread count for normal sheets and weight for flannel sheets....

I ordered the "Famous Brand" sheets in the last deal and they sent me Wamsutta sheets instead. Doesn't matter to me either way since as you've pointed out, they are practically the same.

Jersey sheets are not comparable to regular cotton sheets. They really are like a tshirt weight and feel. The down side is sometimes they lose their shape. I bought one set about 2 years ago, never liked them after the first wash and gave them away to an animal shelter.

They sent me Wamsutta on that last deal too, nice sheets.
Also. If you go to bedbathbeyond.com and look up these sheets, you see that they are clearly Wamsutta (or Wamsutta made under a different label) by the same color names. Also. BBY lists the normal price as $20 per sheet for full, not what Amazon says $40-$50.

anxietykl said: i don't see the b1g1 just onenot all colors are b1g1. you have to check each color.
btw, i ordered several sets of twins this morning and they were $6.99. this afternoon, they went down to $4.99 b1g1. called and got price adjusted in a jiffy.
addicted to Amazon as much as fw. that's why i'm broke
The king size also has bonus B1G1.link Finally I paid $37.97 for 2 king size fitted sheets, 2 king flat sheets and 1 queen flat and 1 queen fitted. What a sweet deal!

Nice! Last time I got the king and queen size sheet set, but was too late to get the matching twin set (to make pillow cases). This is what I need. In for all matching colors, except for one that does not have the bonus buy. My total cost for 5 king, 5 queen sets (flat+fitted+pillowcase) will be less than $130. Sweet deal!
Question to those who got these sheets the last time: After washing the sheets, are they still nice and soft? In the reviews Amazon lists, there seems to be a complaint from a few people that the soft sateen sheen the sheets have when you first take them out of the package disappears once you wash them, and the sheets become a little rough. Did you find this to be true? I've never had this kind of problem with Wamsutta before, but I figure it's worth asking the question before I go and buy 4 or 5 sets...

I wonder which deal is better, the egyptian cotton wamsutta sets or these?
I ordered the Wamsutta sheets last time and am very happy with them.
My sister is getting married early next year so I picked her up two sets of king sheets for her new bed and a set of pillow cases. I also got my sister-in-law a set of bath towels and wash cloths and an extra set of sheets for our guest bedroom. All of this only cost me $60!
Don't forget that there's a $25 discount if your cart adds up to $125 or more. This includes the total cost of the sets before discount. For example, if you bought 5 sets of sheets at $13 a set you end up with $130 worth of merchandise in your cart. This means your cart total is $130 - $25 = $105. THEN you get your set discount of $65 which leaves you paying $40. You end up with 5 sets for the price of 3!

I like looking over the kitchen - reconditioned - small appliances for nice deals when I need filler. For instance, Cuisinart white 2 slice toaster for $15, list $100 and regular price $60 (or a 4 slice for $33, list $150). There's also the Cuisinart DCC-270 coffee maker for $20 (as much as a replacement carafe), which also lists about $100.
Use coupon code DECEMBERKHBB for $25 off $125. Apparently it only has to be $125 before the Best Value Savings.
