***This thread is for those who have the $40 off 200 coupon*** I just got this coupon today in my mail box Here is the original thread about Peachtree 2005 Link And here is what I just did: 1/#20854292 Lexar 512MB USB Jump Drive $44.98 Link 2/#20807511 Peachtree Accounting 2005 Software $164.98 LinkHere is $30 upgrade rebate - thanks W2200 3/#20865155 FREE OfficeMax Rubberband 15 with purchase of $100, which is automatically added in into you cart after using the coupon Subtotal: $44.98+$164.98+$15=$224.96 Tax: $XX.XX Delivery: $0.00 Discounts: $40 coupon and $15 free CD = $55.00 So you pay: $224.96-$55=$169.96+tax-$165 Peachtree Rebate-$15 Sandisk Rebate= -10.04+Tax
Good luck Update1: -"Use of coupon code may cancel Cash Back Rebate with this merchant" so CashBack 3.3% seems not gonna work !! But there's a member said he got Cash Back succesfully after using the coupon so it's YMMV -And I myself got one Peachtree 2005 from Staples, and the rebate was very smooth, no hassle, some people said the rebates were smooth too, but some people said it took them "8 months" to get it, so again it's YMMV -The jumpdrive is back ordered in some areas, I would suggest you to get TaxCut Deluxe 2004 Link or TurboTax Deluxe 2004 Link as a filler. Then you'll get these for free: ROYAL Extreme 4 Organizer #20807539 Link, AND TaxCut State 2004 Link , OR Money Standard 2005 link, OR TurboTax Multi-State 2004 Link, OR Quicken Basic 2005 Link, depending on what you get Deluxe 2004 or TurboTax Deluxe 2004 Update2: If you've recently received the $30 off $150 in the emails from Staples, you would just go ahead a buy it from Staples, which has the same Peachtree 2005 for 164.94 Link, you pay: $164.94+Tax-$30=$134.94-$165 Peahtree Rebate= -30.06+Tax+Free S/H ; So you still can make some money. They also have the SanDisk 512MB Cruzer Micro for 29.94 After $10 EZ Rebate Link, AND SanDisk 256MB Cruzer Micro for 19.94 after $10 EZ Rebate Link , you can check these 2 items out, and see what profit you would make if you combine them with the Peachtree 2005. And of course dont forget 2.0% CashBack, which is still valid if you use coupon
For those that have purchased Peachtree before, is there a catch besides registering? How the heck can this software be so expensive yet be free AR? I keep seeing it year after year for $150 or more, but free after rebates. I never took the plunge because it smelled a lot like the cyberrebate pyramid scam years ago.
Just a reminder: FatCash seems not working for OM purchases with any coupon applied.

i think the reason why it's so expensive is: they make money even if only one out five rebate is forgotten or invalid.

http://smallbusiness.bestsoftware.com/retail/assets/documents/PAW2005_Rebate.pdf Nice! This upgrade rebate works with Quicken or Money. I always have Quicken, but if you don't this makes them really worth buying since they are always FAR with tax software this time of year...
