***This thread is for those who have the $40 off 200 coupon*** I just got this coupon today in my mail box Here is the original thread about Peachtree 2005 Link And here is what I just did: 1/#20854292 Lexar 512MB USB Jump Drive $44.98 Link 2/#20807511 Peachtree Accounting 2005 Software $164.98 LinkHere is $30 upgrade rebate - thanks W2200 3/#20865155 FREE OfficeMax Rubberband 15 with purchase of $100, which is automatically added in into you cart after using the coupon Subtotal: $44.98+$164.98+$15=$224.96 Tax: $XX.XX Delivery: $0.00 Discounts: $40 coupon and $15 free CD = $55.00 So you pay: $224.96-$55=$169.96+tax-$165 Peachtree Rebate-$15 Sandisk Rebate= -10.04+Tax
Good luck Update1: -"Use of coupon code may cancel Cash Back Rebate with this merchant" so CashBack 3.3% seems not gonna work !! But there's a member said he got Cash Back succesfully after using the coupon so it's YMMV -And I myself got one Peachtree 2005 from Staples, and the rebate was very smooth, no hassle, some people said the rebates were smooth too, but some people said it took them "8 months" to get it, so again it's YMMV -The jumpdrive is back ordered in some areas, I would suggest you to get TaxCut Deluxe 2004 Link or TurboTax Deluxe 2004 Link as a filler. Then you'll get these for free: ROYAL Extreme 4 Organizer #20807539 Link, AND TaxCut State 2004 Link , OR Money Standard 2005 link, OR TurboTax Multi-State 2004 Link, OR Quicken Basic 2005 Link, depending on what you get Deluxe 2004 or TurboTax Deluxe 2004 Update2: If you've recently received the $30 off $150 in the emails from Staples, you would just go ahead a buy it from Staples, which has the same Peachtree 2005 for 164.94 Link, you pay: $164.94+Tax-$30=$134.94-$165 Peahtree Rebate= -30.06+Tax+Free S/H ; So you still can make some money. They also have the SanDisk 512MB Cruzer Micro for 29.94 After $10 EZ Rebate Link, AND SanDisk 256MB Cruzer Micro for 19.94 after $10 EZ Rebate Link , you can check these 2 items out, and see what profit you would make if you combine them with the Peachtree 2005. And of course dont forget 2.0% CashBack, which is still valid if you use coupon
I want to buy a 17" LCD and would love to get a $40/$200 coupon. Is it for belonging to a club or something?

For those that have purchased Peachtree before, is there a catch besides registering? How the heck can this software be so expensive yet be free AR? I keep seeing it year after year for $150 or more, but free after rebates. I never took the plunge because it smelled a lot like the cyberrebate pyramid scam years ago.

Just a reminder: FatCash seems not working for OM purchases with any coupon applied.

i think the reason why it's so expensive is: they make money even if only one out five rebate is forgotten or invalid.

Slick deal. I was going to try this earlier and the instant rebates were not applying Sunday. Works now. I do like being paid to shop at home ;~)

http://smallbusiness.bestsoftware.com/retail/assets/documents/PAW2005_Rebate.pdf Nice! This upgrade rebate works with Quicken or Money. I always have Quicken, but if you don't this makes them really worth buying since they are always FAR with tax software this time of year...

thanks. The $165 rebate for new purchase is not upgrade and makes this FAR. Additional $30 rebate is upgrade (from many programs including Money or Quicken) and makes you $30

Thanks. One more question: the jump driver is backorder for me (1/18 estimated delivery). In the rebate form, it requires to submit rebate within 14 days after purcahse date. How you deal with it? Thank you!

I have done PeachTree rebate twice before with purchase from Staples. Rebates went really smoothly. Also the rebates which go to Miami will be fine. Just my two cents.

you can buy imation DVD+RW 10 packs for 19.99. Order 2 packs for 39.98 and add the software for $165. Total price would be 205-40-165=free for the 20 DVD+RW

my area shows backordered till 1/19 for peachtree, wonder if rebate will be valid?
I don't see why this can't be done at Staples either? I see that they are offering the rebate as well, and add a dollar off coupon to that and an upgraders rebate and voila a few bucks back.

Be aware: if you bought the lexar jump drive last week, you will not be entitled to a second rebate since it is the same promotion for 3 weeks.

You are not missing anything. The other stuff is to get the order cross the $200 mark. With the $30 coupon, you deal is better. No other rebates to do other then Peachtree ones.

I have done the peachtree rebate before (FAR), it took about 3-4 months to get it, and I got denied the first time cause they claimed I did not send the UPC (I did), but in the end I got my $165.
These deals are the best, you get a large $ item that is FAR, combine with a good coupon code ($40, mailed to me), and I get something useful FAR.
Last time I did this I got a free DVD writer for my computer.
I am not into carrying around my porn on a JumpDrive like others, is there anything else about $40 that looks good at OfficeCrap?
thx.
