n200 player

coupon link

cnet Review LINK (they gave it a 8.3)

No tax and free shipping to WA, things might be different in your neck of the woods.

these usually go for around $200, and this model just came out about a month ago (it is designed to replace the muvo TX FM, which had problems with the bass response, but the N200 doesn't have the cool break-apart feature, you must use the included USB cable). Not a big deal for me, but if you must have the USB adapter built in, wait for the V200 to come over from asia.

There are some 20% off coupons floating around, but you had to recieve the e-mail from buy to be elegible for that one.

this is a solid, TINY player perfect for anyone who wants to use it jogging or working out.

Thanks OP!

this is a nice little player, but everytime the backlight comes on... you will hear a faint buzz. i thought mine was defective until i read the reviews. i just turned the backlight off.

i read that too. not a big deal, but a downside nonetheless.

i also learned that the N200 is supposedley a big step up from the TX FM, which it replaced.

has anybody had any luck with a 20% off coupon?

How long for the V200 to make it to US markets?

a buddy of mine who is in-the-know says summer (for what that's worth)

How is the V200 different from the N200?

It seems to not require the USB cable, can be dis-assembled into 2 pieces. Other than that, it seems the same in functionally as the N200.

As per my readings

N200 = TX FM + fix for Bass response problem + " Line In" for recording - No direct connect to USB ports( no detach connect like TX FM , and you need USB cable to connect to computer)

V200 = N200 - "Line In" for recording + detach connect like TX FM

How these products compare to San Disk Flash MP3 player?, which also has most features like N200.

Does it shuffle?

that's about it. the N200 is slightly smaller than the V200. both are a step up from the venerable TX FM

i admit that the built-in USB adapter is a tempting feature, but a 1gb player for this price is pretty hot for me.

Used 10% Buy.com coupon i had and came out to $160.15 shipped. Thanks OP!

Why do you buy 1GB one for $160 when 4GB muvo is $150 at outpost.com?

uh, because i'm an avid athlete and wanted the smallest player i could find?

I've been using mine for the last week, I'll have a review on it pretty soon - but rest assured, this is one first-rate mp3 player

CNET rated the n200 over the ipod shuffle LINK

hmmm. i'm in asia right now and am debating over the v200 1gig or some korean brand 512. i'd consider the n200 but it's notably more expensive than the v200 here, and i like how the v200 comes apart so you don't have to use any cords. i kept googling for prices on the v200 and couldn't figure out why i couldn't find any. haha. whoops. Buy.com charges tax to cali or i'd consider just buying it from them.
