Razor 300 Watt - Reg. $199. $169 Promo price - $20 MIR = $149

Anyone have these and can discuss quality and performance?
Is the 300 Watt scooter going to be powerful enough to zip a 160 lbs. around?

I have the RAZOR 200 and it carries my 190 lbs. just fine.

The RAZOR 200 takes about 3 hours to recharge after a full discharge. The top speed of 12 mph is accurate.

Sounds like a 200 would work fine. Question is if a 300 is worth $50 more than a 200. I've read that chain driven is better than belt driven. Is the 200 belt or chain?

Can these scooters climb hills?
I live in an area where there are lots of climbs and descents.
thanks.

imo the 300 is constructed better, bigger wheels, chain vs belt, and just appears to be more heavy duty in addition to being faster. i checked all 3 and am very happy with the 300.

50 is a pretty big jump, plus the extra TAX. Guess I'll have to go in store and check them all out.

I think most electric scooters don't climb hills well, if at all. I think you need noisy/stinky GAS for that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Is this the 300 or does it not have a seat?

alert mods

pepboys models do not have the seat - sears sells the 300 with the seat (the seat can be removed)

alert mods

I doubt I would use a seat. Who would, senior citizens?

If you're concerned about hills, the E300 is a safer bet. The E200 works fine for me with small hills, but the E300 is a much more powerful unit ( with additional cost).

These things are gettin' pretty cheap! The kids' love the ones they got for Christmas! (Bladez Ion 150's)
