Sounds good to me. Newegg's a good company. In for 15 (plus a sticker - whatever). Thanks, OP!

good deal. too bad they're not ball-bearing fans, which last longer.

Some things to note:

Bearing Type: Sleeve
Max Air Flow(CFM): 31.73
Noise(dBA): 28.0

But for a buck "out the door" I'm in for 15 - Thx OP!

Ball-bearing is louder. I bought 20 of these a while back and they work nice. I replaced 3 ball-bearing fans in an old Antec case of mine and it's very quiet now.
Now, the new rifle bearing fans combine the reliability of ball bearing with the quite of sleeve bearing.

Nice, if you want quiet, just use a fan controller.

Been waiting for another .99 fan deal for awhile. Thanks, John2111

Thanks OP ... now i will have to figure out a way to use all of the 15

Yeah this is a great deal. Good to have some spares around. Thanks OP!

exactly, sleeve fans are quieter and thats the only difference you will notice btwn them and BB fans. I doubt regular computer builder can kill a sleeve bearing fan.

Nice deal, i'm in for 15. I've been looking for some fans that are cheap and has the 3 pin connector, even better that it has both 3 and 4 pin.

I bought 15 of these about three months ago for the same price, and I still have 14 in the box... lol. Wonder what I was thinking =P Very nice deal for those who need these fans though, thanks for posting!

thanks OP! I'm soooo in!

not much cash for this deal but good for larger $ purchases at newegg...

Nice deal... I love quiet fans and at this low price, I don't mind replacing them if they break down.

Thanks OP,
and
DOn't forget the free newegg sticker (value $5!@??) with bulk oem fan purchases. there is a link on the page with the fan description

I just read on the Masscool site that sleeve bearing fans normally last 30,000 hours compared to a normal ball bearing fan lasting 50,000 hours. But, by buying 15 we'll have plenty, not to mention the fact that it's quieter.

I bought up 10 of the Speeze awhile back when you could buy 10 for .99 each, and they're excellent (same company).

The question I have for anyone is: Where can a person find discount prices on various sized fans (as opposed to 80 mm all the time). I would like to find some 60 mm, 70 mm, 90 mm, 120 mm, as well as CPU cooling fans. Sure I can find those sizes, but never on sale like this. I'd like to be able to stock up on several of them. Does anyone know of any cheaply priced fans in those categories? Thanks.

Thanks OP!

I thought I ordered 15, but for some reason, it came out as 16.

Oh well, I'm sure I can find a use for an extra one.

cesmit2, it isn't available now but i got a bunch of NMB 92mm fans from directron (methinks) a while back at like .60$ ea. the thing with it was the adapters were wrong so you had to make your own adapters or have the fans go to a custom fan controller thing.

and just for others info, this is how the prices breakdown with shipping:
N - $$ N=number of fans, $$ = cost me = teh bored!
1 - 7.08; 2 - 14.16; 3 - 9.84; 4 - 13.12; 5 - 16.4; 6 - 19.68;
7 - 15.26; 8 - 17.44; 9 - 19.62; 10 - 21.8; 11 - 23.98; 12 - 26.16;
13 - 28.34; 14 - 30.52; 15 - 14.85; 16 - 15.84; 17 - 16.83; 18 - 17.82
19 - 18.81; 20 - 19.8

Thanks Tobias

In for the free shipping. Thanks OP!

I'm in for 15. Thanks for the deal.

if I were to lets say...make a side pannel out of these fans...

would I be able to hook up each of these fans into each other, linking them into a long chain, then using only one power plug to keep them running? looking at pictures 1 and 2, I can't tell if that's 2 different plugs, or if it's the back side of one...

to anyone who gets this, let us know

sweet deal. just got a case without a fan, now i have 11 fans too many.
thanks for this finding.

Good deal.

The 4-pin molex seems to have both male and female connectors, so you most probably would be able to link them.

Yeah me too. All I need is 4 fans really but at this price its hard to pass up.

Thank you John2111 for posting this deal!

nice deal...thanks OP

I don't have any fans in my case except the ps one and the cpu one. I have 1 hd 2 optical drives and an agp video card in a 2400XP+ sysetem. How important are having case fans and how do you know when you need them? My cpu is 49C.

I will buy these anyway...

Received the 15 fans today. Great fans for the price. Very quite and have the pass through type 4 pin molex and also the 3 pin connector for connection to motherboard. Great deal and now my case is cooler using 3 of these fans with less noise than with the three fans I had in the case prior to these. Thanks OP.

I'm glad several of you were able to "cash in" on this deal. I have reaped numerous rewards {deals) from FatWallet and truly appreciate the contributions of so many on the Forums.

Got my 15 today......

Thanks OP

muchos gracias

I recently (like an idiot) sheered off a blade on my CPU fan. Of course it was noisy as all hell so to balance it I broke off an opposing blade. This works but I am of course not getting the airflow I used to have and in intense applications without additional cooling the CPU locks up. I know these are case fans.. would these work as a sub? Most CPU coolers come with heatsink and everything which I don't need. Would these be too thick to mount on a heatsink? Anyone want to sell me one??

Depends on your heatsink. Alot of heatsinks use 60mm fans (or use to). The best bet would be to look up the specs for your heatsink and see what size fan it uses (usually they'll give width and height ala 80mm x 10mm).

Does anybody have any ideas or links on mods we do on the fans to make them last longer or other stuff...

Old thread, but still valid. And now it's 10+ at 99 cents, and free shipping. If you're only getting these, it doesn't really make sense to buy less than 10.

just ordered 10 for $9.90... Now need to figure out what to do with 5 extra fans? thx op!

back in stock! buy! buy! buy! got my 10 ordered today. newegg auto-notify rocks.

note: only 10 needed for .99 each shipped

question: can anyone tell me where i can get a CHEAP fan-controller that will control atleast 4 fans?
