In for 1 also. My other memory are PC2700 on my Dell 400SC so this will be running also at PC2700. I could always use this memory once I build a new one.

I don't know to much about memory, but is memory backward compatiable like that? Can I use it on my Dell 2400 if I have a stick of 2700 in it with they just both run at 2700?

In for one. You can mix the memory sticks. I've used PC3200 alongside a stick of PC2100 at work and it works fine - just runs at the slower speed.
and call me a fool, but are these 184-pin memory, or something else? I haven't really updated my PC in over a year (nor have I been paying too much attention to what's new out there) so it's unclear as to what I can use...
Good call on the pricegrabber rebate. I'm in for this. Is this memory ecc or non-ecc it doesn't say anywhere. But regardless I had a $20 gift card to burn and this will let me "cash out" somewhat.

Ok, just trying to get this str8. You CANNOT get CashBack if you use the 10% coupon, and you can get the $5 Review thing, and $25 rebate and 10% coupon together though? Pls advise on what has come out to be the best price and best deal. thx and update topic accordingly!

This should work on 400SC. Just don't mix ECC and Non-ECC memory on the same bank.
I believe you can mix those too, and it will just work in a similar fashion to mixing slow and fast ram (which will run at the slow speed) it will just run in Non-ECC mode.

I would advise against giving them your real DOB (especially a merchant as shady as Buy.com). They have NO business knowing that info.
Anyone have any problems at all with this? I just tried to install it and my puter didn't recognize it. Had no probs with the other 512 stick from Outpost. Finally after many tries took it out and put back in the former 256 that came with the puter.
