These modems are running out so even if deal may last but there will be no modems left in most BB stores... I searched for "SS5100" availability in stores near my place online and then went to the store. So check for availability of the modem before you start your trip...

1. $20 Image Lab card (don't know what it is for) offer # 58390 5/29/05 to 7/16/05 Postmark 9/16/05
2. $75 BB GC offer # 59201 7/3/05 to 7/30/05 Postmark 9/30/05
3. $15 Seimens MIR offer # 59445 7/3/05 to 7/30/05 Postmark 9/30/05
4. $75 SBC Yahoo MIR offer # 59446 7/3/05 to 7/30/05 Postmark 9/30/05
5. $75 Seimens modem MIR offer # 59446 7/3/05 to 7/30/05 Postmark 9/30/05

All the BB stores are out of modems in bay area, CA. But some stores have them at about 20 miles away. I also went 15 miles and took the last Seimens SS5100 modem for $89.99 from them. Thanks OP for the post...
I found the answer for $20 Image Lab card. It is a $20 prepaid card for digital prints at bestBuy.com so this is also not junk. This is good advertisement from BB to check their digital prints service...

I know the question of rerating has probably been asked already but I cant find an answer. So, is it possible to get this if you are an existing Yahoo/SBC DSL customer? What if you are currently in a 1 year contract?

Is this deal still going on at Best Buy?

Modem is at full price...

does anyone know how to check how far i am from the dsl service provider? im only getting 384k upstream/downstream... supposed to be "up to" 1.5mbps... to be honest, the upload speed is perfectly fine, but my download speeds are a bit slow for my needs.

I signed up for the dsl in BB yesterday, went to 2 stores in San Francisco, and modems were out of stock. I checked for stock online before but the stupid BB stock system is not in real time. The system (in their store's terminal!) said that there were 2 left in the first store and 7 left in the second store. But both stores were out of stock. So, I ended up wasting gas and $3 bridge toll to drive to Oakland to the third store to get the modem. BB got to have better stock tracking system! I was so pissed to have to drive to 3 BB stores to get into this deal, and the employee in Harrison store was not so friendly either!

There are 5 rebates = $75 yahoo, $75 modem, $15 modem, $20 image lab, $15 siemen rebates. I think the 2 $75 rebates are the same rebate because they both go to same address and same promotion #.

I'm not at all well-versed in technology, so I'm curious: if I get DSL, and we have 2 desktops in our home, and we both want to use it, what else do we need to buy? Also, is it just a single $14.95 charge if there are 2 computers using the DSL...or is there an extra cost, like for a 2nd Tivo? Any help on what to buy (and of course where to get the best deal) would be appreciated!

When I was in Emerville Bestbuy, I saw the last one (box bit torned but w/ UPC) sitting lonely on the shelf, good luck to the one who grab it.

The $75 GC clearly indicates you must be a new subscriber. And you have to check this option in the subscription process. If you select existing user option, I believe the rebate form won't be printed out.

Item 4 and 5 are the same promotion. I guess that's why I only got 4 rebate form instead of 5.

You'll need a router to share the DSL connection between 2 or more computers. Both computers can be online at the same time using one account through the router, and there's no extra charge for having a second computer on the internet. Just search on here for 'router' to get some good deals.

What Is that 20 dollar image card promotion about anyone know? I dont think im gonna waste the stamp to send it in.
