Edit to make it the official Syntax Olevia thread. Thanks.

Hopefully, they will have the LT37HVS for sale soon, with ATSC tuner and HDMI. Unfortunately, it looks like the speakers still aren't removable. Specs are HERE
Looks like an interesting thread, but the LT26HVE is missing.
Just be sure and make copies of everthing for the MIR and be prepared to wait 6 to 8 months for the rebate. For purchases this week, this would put receiving rebates in 2006.

good point. I ordered some syntax stuff a while back and the rebates did take a long time.
If there was a way to directly put a link that would generate a CashBack transaction and also take you directly to the product page, that would be very cool.
For ex: http://www.fatwallet.com/redirect/bounce.php?cbmerch=1069 takes you to target home page. Now if there was a way to somehow (re-direct or otherwise) go directly to the syntax olevia 32 LT32HV product page, that would be very helpful.

Here is a very interesting comparison chart of the 2005 sets - the 27" and 30" sets are missing, and some model numbers have changed: LINKEE
OP, the homepage link with CashBack is not working, and I don't think it will work. That's why I wanted to bring this up to the mods or owners of FatWallet.
can we PM to microcenter for 32"??? anybody know???

Note that the existing models of the 37" will go away as soon as the warehouses are depleted - all TVs 37" and up which are built after July 1 must have ATSC tuners. Monitors (without any tuners) are exempt (Syntax does not sell any monitors).
Dont know if this should be a part of the old thread or it requires a new one..!!!! cos the old one is still active

San Diego Fry's is sold out of the 20" and the San Marcos only has open box ones (which are only $285). I bought one at the san marcos location yesterday for $285 and it didnt have dead pixels or anything. Not a bad deal as it made up for part of the sales tax, too bad you have to pay an $8 recycling fee in CA for it. Good tv by the way!

It was kinda noise from oscillation and it bothered my wife so much that I returned it the next day. Use your caution.

miserly said: thanks and great post! i wonder if it is more helpful if you list by model and then list the retailers... my 2 cents
I think they do charge tax....can anyone chime in?
From the Amazon website: Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the states of Kansas, North Dakota, or Washington are subject to tax.
While I commend the OP for his effort in putting together this info, I must say that it will be extremely difficult to keep this thread up-to-date and relevant. As the OP of the 9-month old (and going) Target Olevia thread (which was never even mentioned in the OP ), I've gone through nearly 20 updates in price (so more than 2 a month) at Target alone (and I missed prob a couple of price changes).
These LCD sets fluctuate in price enormously even from week to week. To keep track of all of the models in all of the stores you are proposing would be a herculean effort. And since you can't post all the prices in the title, you may get less readers who click on the generic thread title. Thus, once this thread falls a little behind, you will see new threads pop up with individual deals that are more up-to-date and time-sensitive. It's just how things work on FW. It would be like setting up an "iPod Thread" (I think that's actually been done unsuccessfully) and trying to have it contain all the iPod deals. Too many deals; too many price variations; too many new models.
Thus, there will always be a place and need for other threads to provide more up-to-date and store-specific info (I always try to keep the Target thread fairly accurate). But I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor, as there's always a chance you might be more up to the task than I would be.
thanks, i tried my zenith remote with it, and didnt work. This is a brand new olevia/Brillian model so it may use a different code.
Im a bit worried buying a universal remote bc i dont know if they will have codes for olevia, and I dont want to have to do a lot of trying and returning.
