I ordered 20D instead but this one is a good deal. Green for you. Too bad the $60 doesn't work on 20D, used a $35 coupon instead.

Just pick another method of payment, I select one credit card, then it pops up and offers you 2% off for using DPA.

Nice. Body only deals are rare. Any thoughts on a good inexpensive lens that provides more range than the "kit" lense?

Good deal for body only. Kit could be had for $739 last week. But then many say the kit lens is not worth even that. (I think they are exaggerating.)

Ordered 50mm f1.8 (cheap but good lens) ~$70
28-105mm f3.5-4.5 is my near term target. ~$200
70-200mm f4L when the price is right. ~$500

probably nothing cheaper...and how much wide is wider for you? crop factor on this camera is 1.6x

I have a Cannon rebel SLR, which has a 58mm(d) EF 28-80mm lense.
If I buy this REBEL XT body, can I mount my old lense on to it?

Yes, XT takes both EF-S and EF lens.

Does Nikon never offer any deals??? I have been looking for a good deal on D70 or new D70s...not too much on fatwallet Nikon wise it seems like. Have you guys encountered any good D70 deals?
