I've been looking at cards that do Dolby Digital encoding on the fly (so you can play 5.1 games and ONLY hook up a spdif cable to your stereo). The Montego is normally around $80 shipped, but Buy.com has it for $55 shipped free. There is a 5% off around too. (I had to goto pricegrabber, search for "montego ddl", click the 5% off under Buy.com, click redeem).
This is a pretty nice deal for people in the market for this card.
Becareful here (not to thread cap , just inform) ...
If I remember correctly , the Montego card is based on the old Vortex2 chipset which is no longer supported by anyone any longer (no new driver support) . The Vortex2 chipset was made by the now "out-of-buisness" Aureal company and the Vortex2 chip will not work on newer Windows based pc's .

Um, no this Montego is a fairly new card. It is based on the C-Media 8768 chipset. You will have no issues finding drivers for any modern operating system, including XP Media Center Edition
