Also, BOGO Barbie Fashion Dolls and 5 packs of matchbox and hot wheels.
Are any of the xbox 360 games out yet? I know the system doesn't come out till the end of Nov. but I hear the playable kiosks are starting to show up in some stores.
Doesn't appear to be available online yet, which is too bad, and there is no code in the ad. BTW I checked Mario Baseball and it brought up GameStop as the default version, which was a pain, since they were the same price.
Question: in general can you pre-order stuff with the code online (my son wants games that are not available yet, but they are online)? I know you can't in-store, although my past experience has been that if you get a gift receipt and make sure that you have them scan a game you want to keep last (so it shows up on the receipt as free), you can go back and return it and get another game within the return period.

See 5 posts up Sometimes I've used them as future exchanges too. You can also exchange without a receipt (if they give you a hassle about the free game) but you pay sales tax again.

Bilirubin:
Yes, I have use the B2G1 at Rus/Amazon to get a preorder and 2 that were in-stock of Leapseter games, and they all shipped when the preorder came in stock, so I would presume that would work for the Video Games too.
Others: Yes, the coupon doesn't work for video games, it was late and I was pretty tired and neglected to check and write that, updating OP
I will scan the ad, and/or other ads if people want, I didn't see much else exciting however...but I often miss stuff. Someone else would have to host.

We won't know until the coupon goes live. Last year you couldn't use it on preorders. Leapster & console video games are a whole different animal. XBox 360 preorders would be hot but I doubt that will fly

Well, if there is no free shipping, I may as well just buy them in-store since I can get 5% back with my TRU credit card, plus my son has a $5 gift card to use. I think TRU is pretty picky about returns w/o a receipt these days... but YMMV. In any event, the trick is just to get the one you are definitely keeping scanned last so it's the free one. And to make sure to ask for gift receipts.

hoping pre-orders work...or that this lasts for a while
It's going to be a one week sale. I seem to recall that they run it a second time before Xmas, but I'm not positive.

Good point. We shall see I have my cart loaded just in case...
I went and looked at TRU's website to see if the newer flyer was up . No , it was not but last weeks was . We decided to go over because they had the Strawberry Shortcake free tiara (kids make it) so we loaded up . They still had thr 50 off green-tag items so we got the kids some cheap toys for today . They also had "Get free Cinderella Glass slippers with a $25 Cinderella item purchase" BONUS ! My youngest daughter wants alot of the Cinderella stuff , as does the older daughter . We got the younger one a $20 doll and some other items to get it up to the $25 mark . The older sister wants the glass slippers so thats 2 Christmas present done before November , LOL . We decided to go back next weekend and pick up the horse and carriage and a 2nd set of slippers . The deal runs through the 29th IIRC . My wife had a $10 off $50 coupon card that TRU sent us but we didnt even notice it expires TODAY ! Whew , almost lost that one .... like I said good thing we went .
She still has a $5 off $25 we will use next weekend for the Horse and Carriage ....
Christmas will be tight this year .... wife out of work from major surgery so every dime I save is a good thing

I don't think so, its usually 1x per year late October.. right about now. Its always when I stock up my game library. The other sale is usually on $19.99 games only.

Does it need to be the games for the same system? Can I get, say, 2 PS2 games and get a GameCube game for free? Thanks.

Systems can be mixed. I.e you could get a ps2 a xbox and a gcn game.
bummer.. have PSP but don't want to play it on the little screen
trying to get my hands on socom 3 nba live 06 battlefield 2
Sometimes they'll come back in stock online later in the week. You can call your TRU b&m and see if they have them, if not ask them if they will restock this week and what day. My TRU never has any games, especially new releases so I'm not even going to bother.
Went to TRU and picked up the my scene dolls that have the 3 different heads that swap on . If you buy one of them , you get a free carrying case for the dolls . We loaded up 2 Cali girl dolls with the my scene swappers and the case and went to the register . They at first rang it up and the "Barbie" my scene was OK for the promo but the "Nollie" (spelling?) was not . The manager changed the Nollie to $.01 , which we agreed to so the deal would work . When it was said and done we got 2 My scene swappers and 2 Cali girl (cheaper $6 versions) and a free carrying case ($16.99 normally) for $21.xx after using the $5 off $25 printable coupon !!!
I told the wife we messed up though . Since we purchased the other swapper for $.01 we should have gotten a 2nd case for free ..... O well , I won't gripe as we got $68 worth of normal priced Barbies for $21.xx
Oh , BTW they would NOT sell the green tag (50% off all green tag merchandise) barbies at B1G1 Free . We would have argued if had not been for getting the deal on the swappers

I heard NBA live didn't get that great of reviews, NBA 2k6 got better. Which is weird since NBA series is usually always better.
UPDATE: Just called Amazon.com and the sale is over for the PS2 games. They stated that they do not follow the same sale timeframes as the stores to so if you want any PS2 games on this deal you will have to go to B&M.
