What are you trying to say strager? I think this is a great price for basic computer use. If I was a Gamer or used the computer all the time I would look for one with DVI
OP, I am not a guru but I believe you will need a converter to use direct TV hookup. I may have mis-understood what you mean, but I use a V-Stream TV Box to watch Cable,broadcast tv on my PC LCD monitor.
