Edit 12/03: Yankee has now changed the offer to include JACK FROST scented candles only. ========================================================================================
My daughter found a code in Seventeen Magazine yesterday:
From the January issue of Seventeen magazine page 47: Buy one 22oz candle, get one FREE valid through 1/31/06
The 22ounce housewarmers come up at $10.78 each after you add the coupon code to your cart. Shipping is $5.00 flat rate.

I don't know waht scents to order. what are some of your favorite scents for the holidays? i though i'd pick up a few as christmas gifts for the kids teachers.
Thanks a million! Great gift idea! Just purchased 10 of the 22oz. jars...

I'm not being sarcastic when I ask this - but why are these candles so expensive? What makes them worth so much?

I know they smell GREAT, but I burn candles constantly and can't justify the price. But of course I would be thrilled if someone bought me some for xmas!
Well, I don't know if it's worth it, but what the heck, in for 2. Everyone seems crazy over them so we'll see.

It's like the pizza box says "you've tried all the rest now try the best"
I have tried many many other brands and none compare. Yankee candles have much more scent than all the others and they do indeed last a long time. Plus the jars are pretty.
Wow, I just ordered 40! for me and gifts. Thanks OP!

They are the best! I didn't know about them until I lived in New England. I'm so mad....I just used the buy 2 get one free coupon.LOL This one is much much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yankee has several B&M stores. If you don't like the scent (smell the topper, not the jar) you can alway exchange at the B&M. They are supposedly the "cadillac" of candles, everything from the oils used to make the scents to the quality and positioning of the wick, etc. Good post.
Thanks! Holding off on ordering, trying to decide how many more candles I need! I love these candles! I used to sell PartyLite (high-end candles!) ... and these are just as good!

The Balsam and Cedar candle is on sale for $16 and change and the coupon works for that too!!! Says out of stock with replenishment date of tomorrow...
Save a little more money and get a Christmas scent for the house!!!

Have you ever tried Beanpod (aka soy scentsations, rada soy, or cedar river)? They are also expensive, but they are soot free and last longer. Check out the sale items at the link. The 25oz jars are the best value. Right now you can get like 8 different sale items, most of which are really great scents. The Sugared Spruce is my favorite out of all their candles, but of the others on sale, I also love the Hot Chocolate, Candy Cane, Nutcracker, and Cranberry Clove. Order 4 large sale jars and get free shipping. If you buy soy candles, you may want to buy, find, or make a wick dipper, since blowing them out after 4-6 hours causes the all cotton wicks to smoke quite a bit. Using something to dip the wick in the wax to put it out works much better on Yankees as well, just make sure you recenter the wick after dipping it.
Good price on these Yankees though. Thanks OP.

Ok... This is really screwy...
I placed an order 15 minutes ago, didnt get an order confirmation and the website said I never placed an order. So I just went back in to replace the order (most likely double placed the order) and made sure this time to write down the order confirmation.
Just went back to check the online order status and it says I have no orders. Can someone else log back into the website and see if their order is showing up?
What kind of website doesn't have "instant" order confirmation via email or website anymore!?!?!!?
Arg... I know I'm going to randomly get an email confirmation at like 2 am with two orders and they both will ship...
I got 8 out of 9 candles not broken, so I called them and they said throw away the broken candle and they were going to send a replacement candle for the one broken. I got an email from them and they charged my credit card for the replacement. I sent them an email and haven't gotten a reply.
