Looks like the deal I've been waiting for. Before I jump on it, does anyone konw of any compatibility issues with the Media Center edition HP's? When I replaced the video card it was necessary to check compatibility for those particular machines.

I grabbed this the last time it came around at this price.
Perfect for those who dont want the midi plug-ins and just want a great soundcard.

Seems to me only difference is platinum version gives you front panel audio connection. If you want to spend the extra $30 might as well get the X-fi at CC for $75.here

Took the dive on this.

I've been waiting for this to come around again.

I didn't think the x-Fi Xtreme Music edition would be good enough to justify spending more. Apparently, you cannot have both a mic & headphone input at the same time with that model. I am a gamer so that would be an issue.

I would love the Fatal1ty but that is way out of my price range.

I'm in for a platinum version.
It worth the extra $30 because the front panel is important for me.
