Cool Post, Thanks!!!

Looks like great price to me..but I've never ordered online prints before. Are there shipping charges to add?

Yes they have a flat rate $4.95 shipping charge regardless of size and quantity but for .99 its still a bargain

THANKS OP!! I have been waiting for a sale like this. My family asked to have some of my pics blown up for Christmas... and I was starting to get worried!

Well, Adorama Pix is the only place to order any prints that you need. I always order by them and was more than happy with their service and quick turnaround. You could count on them for all your holiday needs, why I'm going to place an order for about 40 pix now... why woudn't you?

awesome. never heard of them, but will give them a try

Search the board, as they run this deal during various holidays.

They are a PRO lab here in NYC and where I get all of my professional prints made. I usually stock up when they run deals like this to sell them during the rest of the year.

For those of you in NYC you can pick up your prints to avoid shipping. The best was when they began same day delivery in NYC for free. Not sure if they still do that as I haven't ordered in awhile.

I haven't yet used the new beta site but logging in gives one a choice of the new or old.

Thanks OP! Time to make some new prints.

Isn't that the same price as Winkflash?

You can't beat Winkflash's flat rate shipping at .99!

Most places charge $1.99-3.99 for an 8x10. Even so, I've never seen a place beat Adorama's quality. Highly recommended.

Edit: Winkflash charges 1.99 for an 8x10, and don't even offer 11x14. http://winkflash.com/content/pricing.asp

Shipping is kind of high.

Ditto the High Quality comments... Great Quality Prints !

at this price you can mail out 8 by 10 christmas cards to everybody!!!!

Sweet. Just placed an order for a client and noticed that they do still have same day delivery in Manhattan. $3.95 for all the pix delivered to my door is fab and it means that I don't have to run down there on Mon.

Thanks OP for the code. Didn't receive an email from them this time with the latest code.

Hi all did anyone try they're new Professional Endure paper ?? is the special good for this ???

Thanks OP. I usually get an email with their specials...didn't get it this time, wonder what's up with that? I've been waiting for a deal to get some stuff done to send out with Christmas cards...I was about to give up.

Adorama's quality is great...much, much better than Winkflash, both in the print quality and the paper quality. Even for 'normal' prints (not Professional Endure), Adorama uses Kodak Royal paper, which is much thicker paper than other places use.

Whats the point of cheap shipping when the quality is abysmal ? I dont know about others but I have tried every printing service out there. In my book, Snapfish/Shutterfly make the best prints and Winkflash, the worst.

Thanks OP i have been using Snapfish for a long time now, when i sow your post for the 8X10 sale i figured for .99 ill try a new place and all i can say is WOW i placed a order on Thursday morning, i got confirmation of shipment on Thursday night and i got the prints today well packaged and the quality is unbelievable it was printed on the thick Kodak royal paper i am putting in a new large order tonight for 8x10 prints of all my kids for this price ill make 4 8x10 albums for my grand parents.

Thanks again

BTW: do you know of a good place to get nice inexpensive 8x10 albums ??

I am Adorama all the way. Have tried them all and now that I have, I am an Adorama Man. Always fast, good quality, and the right order. Keep it quite though- it seems when a place gets to much business they lose quality.

Geez kiddo, I don't know why I would not after an inspiring pitch like yours. I'm sold!

I just got my ten enlargements. I am happy with them. Oh, and I also got three 8 X 10's of some stranger's wedding in my delivery!

Just give it to someone else as xmas presents

is 99 cents a pic really a deal? i have never printed out my digital pics so i just wanted to know...

Did this one go away yet? I was just on the thier website and the price was $1.99!

did you enter the coupon code pxholiday05 ??

If you have a decent photo to upload, these are really nice pictures. Cheaper and easier (you can choose from any of your pictures) than going to a picture studio and hoping they can get a decent shot of your kids. Most sheets at a photo studio are at least 3.99 when they are on sale. BTW these we the best packaged pictures I have recieved from an online photo place. Shutterfly also does a great job.

It is a steal, not a deal! Locally if I go into a pro lab 8x10s START at $4.99/each and go way up. Adorama is a pro lab with a B&M in NYC and their regular prices are $1.99. That is great to begin with. For those of us who print out large quantities but irregularly, .99 just blows the rest away.

Once I had a problem where I went to pick up my package (albeit 2 weeks late) and it wasn't there. They apologized and offered to have it ready for me in an hour if I would come back. I did and they looked great. Turns out when I got home that night, there was a package waiting for me. They had shipped it to my home, no charge, as one of the guys noticed I hadn't picked them up. I called them and they told me to keep the extra pix, no charge. BTW, this was for a $150 order!

Somehow all the glowing reviews seem a bit strange.

Surely someone had a poor experience out of all the users on FW.

Personally I had a wishy-washy experience but may give them another try.

All my life I had been plagued with health problems. After placing an order with Adorama, my bad back felt better and my limp completely disappeared. In addition, I now make ten thousand dollars a week. In the meantime, my friend who placed an order with another photo lab got run over by a car. Don't take your shots anywhere else. Trust Adorama.

What is the shipping rate...

it's not worth it. $5 for a 8x10? how about you EARN $15 for printing 2 8x10'S HERE

It is 99 cents for each 8x10 with the coupon. That is the best price that you are going to find from a PRO lab. Those other places are just online shops, which haven't been around that long.

If you don't want professional prints then try those other places. Not everyone will need EXCELLENT prints so go right ahead. Order from each place, which is what I did a few years ago and compare the quality. Just make sure that you are using the same exact image for your test.

icc profiles avail. at http://www.drycreekphoto.com/Frontier/Profiles/NewYork_frontier_profiles.htm#NY

I placed a order for 11x14s on the 19th with the coupon and the order still not ready for pickup called them and they say there very short handed because of the MTA strike hope ill have it before the weekend.......

They say they will work all night to get it ready in the morning

With lots of new holiday photos available, thought I'd bump this thread. Also, for 4x6 prints from same company, see this deal.

Thanks! I saved more money using the PX25FREESHIP.

Best quality.
Best turnaround.
Best shipping materials.
Best prices, especiall with these coupons.

What's strange?

Sounds like we got a lot of adorama owners here on fatwallet, lol..... Sounds like a sales pitch instead of people with good experiences.

I had bought 2 digital cameras, a number of attachments, tripods, and other items from Adorama -- as well as gotten pictures from their pro photo lab. All I can say is that I've been given first class service and top quality products. Their prints (are the best value I've seen) -- razor sharp, excellent saturation, and printing on thick Kodak Royal paper.

Like any company, I'm sure some customers were not happy but my experience and those of others on this board and other internet forums seem to show that Adorama and Adorampix are top notch....

Skipping 27 Messages...

Not sure which of the numerous Adorama topics to add this to, or if this has been posted yet, but I just received the following e-mail from Adorama:

"With Mother’s Day just a few days away, your friends at Adorama suggest thanking Mom for her wise advice. Why not make her an album with some of your favorite smiling photos? Better yet, why not enlarge some of those smiles and frame them for her?

Just in time for Mother’s Day, ADORAMA offers

Large 10 x 13 inch. Poster Prints: For as little as $1.99. (no limit)
And jumbo 5x7 album prints: For as little as .25 each. (no limit)

This is an unprecedented offer that expires on 5/20/06. To get this offer, enter coupon code PXMOTHERSDAY06 at checkout."
