The Nintendo DS mario cart bundle ($149.99 value) + Accessory pack ($29.99 value) + Ultimate Spiderman DS game ($39.99 value) is available at Toys-R-Us for 149.99. You can use the $5 of $25 coupon (www.wow-coupons.com) to get it for $144.99. This seems like a great price.
It is also available online. I'm not sure if the 5 off 25 will work though.
It says right on the coupon it can't be used online. This is a great deal though if you want the games. Also, I'm not sure what the prevoius poster means about a wishlist discount, since it is TRU I doubt any Amazon specials apply.

What is the whislist coupon?
I believe he was referring to the AMEX wishlist coupon.

Anyone know if there is a larger discount instore coupon for toysRus? I'm very much thinking of using one of my AMEX Certs and grabbing a bunch of these, but $5 off $600 doesn't seem all that great...

Forget online, at least for now. Both the eligible starter kits are OOS, and stupid TRU won't let you do the deal with only the DS (including Mario Cart) and Ultimate SpiderMan. Every time they have one of these deals its crippled online somehow it seems. . .
I checked out all of my TRU in my area and they are sold out. They only had like 3 or 4 of them. Big whoopty doo!!! As someone else stated, I would have boughten online but all the cases are OOS.

Nintendo DS Mario Kart Bundle

Free NDS Game and Kit: Purchase this Nintendo DS bundle and get a free Ultimate Spider-Man video game and NDS kit from toysrus.com. Add all qualifying products, including the free items, to your Shopping Cart and enter promotional code RTGNDSSPDRMN at checkout. See details.
I bought the Mario Kart DS combo this past Wednesday. I used a 25% off AMEX certificate I got on MyWishList. I only paid $120 or so after the 25% off. I went back tonight to "price match" and was initially told no by the csr's in the Game area. They had sold out of the DS combos, and did not want to offer me much. I went up front and played dumb, and they cheerfully went back to the game area and got the free items, and brought them up front. They were out of Ultimate Spiderman, but subbed Spiderman 2. I also got the Pro Gamers Kit. I'm wondering if I should go to another store and try to exchange the Spiderman 2 for the Ultimate Spiderman. Anyone have a recommendation? I see the Ultimate Spiderman is $10 higher on EBgames.com. Is it better??
As I believe you realize now after your followup post, as with many of these types of things at Amazon, both of them were OOS, killing the deal again. I seriously doubt they restock overnight, they probably have something like the stock exchange that prevents a run on certain/all items, and somebody has to manually flag it as being available again when there is a run like I'm sure this deal caused.

I guess I was lucky. I placed my order right before I posted and then it was OOS again. My order shows it will delivered by Dec 23rd. My son has been driving me crazy about getting the DS for Christmas. I was trying to hold out for the best deal but felt like giving up yesterday when I couldn't get it online or at the stores in my area. I'm glad that I have one less thing to worry about before Christmas.
I already had my son taken care of from the Target $99 deal (actually a birthday present with a Dec. birthday), I didn't decide until I played his how cool it was and wished I had gotten one for multiplay--but luckily this deal popped up and is almost as good (better dollars and cents wise). Let's see if they actually ship. . .

This is virtually impossible to even get any of the starter kits so I can get the deal. This is so ridiculious. You just have to basically hit it right on and thats about it. Congrats to all that actually got one. I will just have to keep on looking.
Went to local toysRus and they were substituting Blue or Titanium + Ult Spiderman,DS kit + choice of 1 of 4 other 34.95 games since they were out of Mario Kart game.YMMV but check it out. This was in Minneapolis-StPaul area.
I also went to a local toyrus and they are giving a nintendo ds , mario game , spiderman game and the starter pack for $149. Some of the store did not realize it until they rang the items up.

How successful would I be if I tried to "pricematch" for this deal on a Mario Kart DS bundle I got at Toys R' Us last Friday? I would really like to get the accessory pack and Ultimate Spider game. At the worst, I could return the MK bundle and buy it back with the extra items right?

You had to win it and also have an American Express card to use it,can be found on Ehay if you really want one.You have to buy alot to make it worthwhile. (unless you won one )
When you look on the right "More Buying Choices," you can find toysRus is selling it for $29.95.
