Also those who have 24/7 Self postage ATM, you can do all sort of things there too.
yep... I actually often stick regular .37 cent stamps (in whatever multiple needed) on my USPS assistant labels and just shove them right in my home mailbox when they'll fit |

Not sure if someone mentioned this... but if you use this way to print out the labels, your customer will not receive an email confirmation ... instead, the confirmation will be emailed to you. |

Does Shipping Assistant allow you to print any kind of labels WITH POSTAGE? I believe that you can print almost any labels with Shipping Assistant, but not with postage (they do have DC, though). Also, I have found that SA doesn't resolve/check addresses as well as the USPS web site does.Sure, not only does Shipping Assistant standardize addresses but it also ships to an unexisting address, if you need to, which web site doesn't. However, Shipping Assistant doesn't accept credit cards, so the item needs to be present to a post office employee if it weigh over 16 oz. |

Hm, I would rather not ship to an unexisting address Also, SA will not find the ZIP code for you from the address, as the USPS web site will do.
And what do you mean, "Shipping Assistant doesn't accept credit cards"? Does it accept cash? Checks? PayPal? Pacific shells? You cannot pay for your postage with SA, and that was the point of the whole discussion, notwithstanding what poly2004 said. It is still very convenient for printing standardized labels. |

btw, this deal is smoking how. I wonder if I can sign up with them (first timer), receive the scale, pay/not pay depending on their terms, but never pay their shoddy monthly charge ever again? If not...this deal is smoking hot! Thanks OP. |

I'm kind of confused by so may comments. To make it simple, here is my questions: By using this Paypal shipping method, do I still need to wait in line at post office? Or i can just simply drop off the package (postal paid through Paypal?) |

Is this a new change? I was under the impression that eBay had something like this but it was for eBay transactions only. And of course there is the USPS Shipping Assistant which was set for execution next month but which has been given a reprieve but which does not print postage. I still like SA.. my local post office is not that far from me so it's not a big deal to stop off there to pay for postage. And I do not have a scale that I trust 100%.
I do have a scale that goes up to 4 pounds, so I get it right the majority of the time, but I feel more comfortable when the post office weighs it. |

I'm shipping a package and I want to print a label instead of waiting in line at the PO. Can I just guesstimate the weight of the box? |
