Also, if employees know about the sale, do you think they'd rather grab the games for themselve/Christmas presents or advertise it everywhere?
$5 off $25 excludes Vid Games ... might not work |

my brother has a management position at TRU, he has the upcoming price changes and these games are NOT on there, there are a couple games listed, but none of which are on this list and not at these low prices. |

OP - can you please provide us more proof? How will they know it? they do not have to put new price tag and if you have done CC deals on games in the past you know how it worked at that time. the Employee had no clue about it. |

Exactly. I also got a GameCube case couple months ago from TRU. It was originally $50+ but it rang up at $15 and since it had a green tag it was %50 off. It came to about $7 from $50+. It wasn't advertised, it wasn't listed at that price, the employee had no clue. |

okay thats a little different, the employee knew a GREEN TAG SALE was going on in general, and they may have not marked every single thing, since over a hundred things in the R zone department were marked down, it is possible that they would miss SOME things. But for an employee (especially one in management WHO HAS SEEN THE UPCOMING PRICE DROPS) to know that a sale is not/won't happen is quite the opposite. |

well buddy the only problem with that is that .98 prices are clearance prices and generally have to do with how well an item is selling, thus if a store isnt selling certain games very well they will be clearanced out. Also, aren't u not supposed to link to other deal sites? |

That image appeared several days after the list hit the web ... it looks like it could have been easily faked. |

I'm posting a picture link posted at another site, not a link to the other site.
I'm not sure if cheapassgamer would count as another deal site, if so, I will remove that link. |

I'll pick up one of the online games so I can rip the DNAS_ID. Need a few for playing my 'other' online games *for PS2 modders reading this: Make sure you buy an online-enabled game, the DNAS_ID is worth more than $10 in my opinion. |

I have a friend who works at Toys R Us and he told me that there's no price drop occuring this week, nothing at all for video games. So this list and the pic above may be fake |

Hi, I work at the R Zone department at TRU in Tysons VA. This list is bogus. We got no manifest about any major clearance on videogames and believe me I would know since my boss makes me tag all the games with their new prices when the manifest come out (most tedious thing ever). In fact we have been taking the green tag games (which were at 50% for the past couple of month) and have been putting back on the shelf back at their original prices. A lot of the games we put back up are for get 2 ($19.99) games for $30 sale this week. So there is no sale this is a hoax. |
