Are those electronic sounds *supposed* to be muskrats mating?
Yeah, but the parody "Hampster Love" is hysterical. The existance of Muskrat Love (a cover of a song by America) is justified by giving rise to the parody!
I believe this set is available at Costco for $30 day in and day out, and was available for $5 or $10 less than that in the weeks before Xmas. This is not a hot deal even if you love The Captain and Tennile.
I actually pre-ordered this for about $12 at dvdpacific.com. They fixed their price later, but did honor my original order. I've actually watched about 15 minutes of it so far. It's much worse than I remember.
True--but let's be honest: Having written "Muskrat Love" pretty much erases anything decent he may have written. The fact that two famous acts chose to record it is just plain disturbing.
I mean, what do you have to be smoking to dream up a song called "Muskrat Love"?? That's a potent mix of chemicals..
Yeah, but in partial defense of poor Willis, I think that the original title was Muskrat Candlelight, and his version was a more of a simple country/folk kinda tune and not nearly as offensive. Have to put the blame for the title change and the sappy Capt'n & T production on some unknown record producer somewhere who's probably still in hiding for his own protection. Best that I can say for it beyond that is that at least it's not (quite) as bad as "Afternoon Delight." *gag* ; )

Afternoon Delight sucks, but did you know that the husband and wife nucleus of the Starland Vocal Band (who did Afternoon Delight) also co-wrote the classic "Country Roads"?
Wish I'd known about this deal before I'd made the appointment to have bamboo shoved under my fingernails, followed by a broken glass enema... would have DEFINITELY gone for this instead!

Mariah Carey has been hailed a lifesaver by R&B superstar Mary J Blige, because her music inspires millions to live out their dreams. ...
It all sucks. But people are told what to listen to, and they are happy to do obey.
