I'm waiting for the Ultimate Osmond Brothers Collection.

Do you want "The Donny & Marie Show" DVD or "The Osmonds" 1972 saturday morning cartoon show DVD?

Three, full DVDs???

What more evidence is necessary to convince people that we need to make torture illegal?

I just read the title of this thread to my husband. He's now in the bathroom throwing up. Ah, come on, hon, love will keep us together!

Muskrat Love

Possibly the most bizarre song ever written.

Are those electronic sounds *supposed* to be muskrats mating?

Wow, there are some old people at FW.

"The Captain." Um, methinks your ship sailed long time ago, cappy.

If so, I wonder what the dvd is showing at that part of the song......

Trivia - the band America wrote the Muskrat Love song.

Yeah, but the parody "Hampster Love" is hysterical. The existance of Muskrat Love (a cover of a song by America) is justified by giving rise to the parody!

I believe this set is available at Costco for $30 day in and day out, and was available for $5 or $10 less than that in the weeks before Xmas. This is not a hot deal even if you love The Captain and Tennile.

"Do That To Me One More Time"

I was going to get the "Captain and Tennile Mediocre Collection" but this one sounds much better. Thanks OP.

Naaa... It was written by Willis Alan Ramsey, an (otherwise) pretty decent songwriter.

I actually pre-ordered this for about $12 at dvdpacific.com. They fixed their price later, but did honor my original order. I've actually watched about 15 minutes of it so far. It's much worse than I remember.

Sorry I didn't post to Fatwallet about it.

True--but let's be honest: Having written "Muskrat Love" pretty much erases anything decent he may have written. The fact that two famous acts chose to record it is just plain disturbing.

I mean, what do you have to be smoking to dream up a song called "Muskrat Love"?? That's a potent mix of chemicals..

Yeah, but in partial defense of poor Willis, I think that the original title was Muskrat Candlelight, and his version was a more of a simple country/folk kinda tune and not nearly as offensive. Have to put the blame for the title change and the sappy Capt'n & T production on some unknown record producer somewhere who's probably still in hiding for his own protection. Best that I can say for it beyond that is that at least it's not (quite) as bad as "Afternoon Delight." *gag* ; )

Afternoon Delight sucks, but did you know that the husband and wife nucleus of the Starland Vocal Band (who did Afternoon Delight) also co-wrote the classic "Country Roads"?

omg omg omg
muskrats everywhere

Wish I'd known about this deal before I'd made the appointment to have bamboo shoved under my fingernails, followed by a broken glass enema... would have DEFINITELY gone for this instead!

Come on the bionic watermellon was greatness.... I may have to get this for my Dad.

The Captain has the personality of a speed bump..

Mariah Carey has been hailed a lifesaver by R&B superstar Mary J Blige, because her music inspires millions to live out their dreams. ...

It all sucks. But people are told what to listen to, and they are happy to do obey.

Where could I get a listen to "Hamster Love". I think parodies are great.
Go Wierd Al.
