Be careful if you previously purchased this label maker last year. This same mfr. rebate (offer # 05-96160) has been going on since last year even though the current form says that it started on 12/30/05. So the mfr. rebate may be invalid if you've already submitted it last year (limit one per household for that offer number).
Will this work with both the Staples rebate and the MIR? Has anyone actually tried this in the past and received both rebates? Even without the price match, $10 isn't bad for one of these things.

Rebate asked for serial number. Where can I find them?
Mine didn't come in a box. It is a plastic shell case. I didn't see any word said "serial number "outside. One number LN689XXXX. Is that it? Thanks! I hope I don't have to open the case.
Update on the mfgr rebate: I was told my rebate was invalid because I submitted past the deadline (which is May 15, 2006... what a bunch of crap). One call to the rebate center made the problem go away though.
