Newer RAMs are always cheaper. The price like this is perhaps as low as it can be. I have been looking for a 256MB PC100 SODIMM. I just can accept the fact that it is more expensive than the 1GB DDR2. I will probably just get a new laptop rather than upgrading the memory. |

BimmerPilot said:BestBuy will have the PC2700 DDR Sodimms 512MB sticks for $39.99 out the door (no rebates) starting 01/22.
donrull said:Thanks for saving me the hassle of ordering and then returning. Anyone know of a good place to get a hot deal on memory that will fit my computer? The two stores I was in today looking for 512 of DDR2 SoDimm did not have any at all, only 256 sticks. The website says that the 512 is only available online and not in stores. If they are getting it just for this sale the computer managers at both stores didn't know about it. |

My BB ad shows the PNY 512 DDR for $39 starting 1/22, but not any DDR2. |

No one said anything about DDR2 @ BestBuy. The above post referred to PC2700 DDR @ BestBuy. Anyway, that is a reasonably decent deal on DDR SODIMM.

Just went to purchase this RAM for my Toshiba L25-S119 laptop (CompUSA deal) and the price has dropped another $3 to $69.99 before rebate!
Thanks, OP - Great deal! |

Did anyone get their confirmation email? I'm still waiting for it. I ordered yesterday, what does this mean? |

Got mine today for an order placed on Last Friday. Just sent them an e-mail for $3 credit since the price is lower. Does anyone know if Outpost PM their own price? |

this is back, but IMO not really a good deal
$89.99 + $7 tax + $7 ship = $104 - $25 rebate = $79 (newegg has this for $85 shipped, without having to deal with waiting for rebates)
Also, note only one rebate per address (if you wanted to get 2GB) |
