I have a pair of Earl Jeans I rarely wear them. The denim itself is thin. Not my type of jean. I love Diesels and the thickness of the material. This is still a good price for designer jeans. I've found Earl jeans at Loehman's and they run about $60.

The denim is thin (which I like) you have to iron them out the wash. For females I find they are great for us that are small waisted, but have hips and butts. Jlo figures.

I almost checked these out - then I read about the "big hips and butts" in the post above. I have almost NO hips and no butt to speak of, so I would probably look rather odd in these jeans...

can't imagine buying jeans without trying them on first. it's not like buying khakis or anything. Also wouldn't buy a suit online without being able to try them on first. Just too many variables... good luck to those that purchases it without trying them on first.

Anyone own the mens jeans?? I have large thighs from the gym and I have a lot of problems trying to get jeans that fit right.(I cant get Diesel jeans past my thighs). Im assuming that these would be no different. I'd go for the 34x34.

unless you know how they already fit, if you have a pair from Earl or tried them on at stores. Then you know what size and fit you will expect.
Earl Jeans made a name for themselves in the Japanese market about 9-10 years ago at around $100. The Japanese are not known for their big hips & butts.
I found 31x34 in the bootcut jeans, I cant ever find jeans in this size. Further, I like thin comfy type denim, so I went ahead and added a pair to my cart, I was just curious before I pulled the trigger if these actually fit like they say they do
My real size is probably closer to 30x33, so if these run bigger than they say I should probably stay away
EDIT: I went ahead and got a pair of bootcut 30x34's ... might have to hem them

Earl Jeans made a name for itself here in the US - LA to be exact. Style 55 2% lycra - the original and only jean. The "brand" (as the collection expanded) became popular in the Japan market around the same time it became a cult item worldwide 1999/2000. Earl was one of the 1st denim lines to introduce low cut jeans to the market. They are also one of the 1st jeans to start this whole expensive jeans as pants trends. oh, and the 1st pair I bought in 1997 cost $160usd

Paper Denim Cloth and Blue Cult denim - As I stated before, I am not sure about all Earl styles, but style 55 is definitely has a smaller waist.

If anyone has any info I would appreciate it!
I do squats religiously too. For that reason cannot wear jeans like 501's, too narrow in thighs. I own a pair of Earl's 72 Boot Cut, 34 X 34 and they are great, very well sewn.

Smirnoff, are the men's jeans more of a thinner, smoother denim like the women's also?
Thanks.

The ones I have are on the smooth thinner side. They are aged quite a bit too.

You are correct that they are an LA brand, started by a husband and wife team. However, the brand skyrocketed to fame in 1998-1999 where the bulk of their sales came from Japan. The duty free company where I worked was their largest account and I did the worldwide orders. We sold style 55 for $85 and could barely keep them in stock. Their main competitor was Cimmarron Jeans. If you paid $160 you should have bought them at one of our airport stores and saved a bundle.

Yah, squatter here too. I find that Abercrombie and Fitch has some pretty nice fitting jeans. I have more of a slim, lean frame than a big, buff one, so I prefer the low rise, slim fitting jeans. Makes my butt look great =P.
