not only they said it will take that long but they are giving me a hard time with the student status for some reason. i faxed them all my id and current schedule and they keep sending email asking me to verify my student status.
if they dont fix my status by the end of the day im just gonna cancell my order. i dunno what will happend with the $99 i paid for the ADC membership is that refundable as well?
good lck everyone. |

yes.. 13" is out. But it's only 10% off (discount price is $1349 from $1499 price)(probably slightly cheaper than educational store price (no $99 membership fee at educational store) 20% would be nice
However, 13 Macbook has no 7200rpm hard drive option and 15.4" price of 2GHz ($1599) is not that much more from $1349. Tough decision.. link |

What's so tough about it? Unless you prefer a smaller laptop, buying the Pro from ADC is a much better deal. |

hey, can an ADC member confirm that the macbook pro 2.0Ghz basic model with 512Mb RAM still shows up as $1599 through the ADC site? I did join the ADC but until I pay the $99 fee, I'm not able to view the various equipment discounts and unless I know I can surely get the 20% off on the basic 15.4" 2Ghz, 512Mb model, I don't want to sign up. I would really appreciate this since I was going to go tomorrow to a retail store to buy this. Thanks much

Hmm.. I'm on the bubble to purchase a Macbook Pro now, or wait for the 2nd gen ones to come out so that all the problems with the overheating and whining have been solved...
Anyone know if ADC purchases qualify for the free iPod Nano rebate? |

nope.. its $179 ipod rebate is only for educational Apple store. Don't see why ADC can offer it since some ADC members are students too. Also, is there any news saying that 2nd gen of chip will solve heat problem?(just wondering)
BTW $100 printer rebate will end this July 17, 2006.. |
