Everman said:mmm pie. I think this applies to their Boston Cream pie too, which really isn't a pie, it's more like cake. pie > cake
Ditto that. Love their boston creme pie....mmmmmm. Also it's huge. |

It's pretty regular. Normally Feb and Sept/Oct(?), all month. Always has been twice a year in my area's MCs. |

Went to my local Seal Beach MC with family and friends and was surprised to see that on Weds night there was a wait to be seated. I overheard someone asking the hostess why it was so busy, was it the pie sale? She said that it was Wine Weds. The man who had asked nodded knowingly. So I went up and asked what Wine Weds was? Half price bottles of wine with dinner! YMMV
So my group enjoyed a bottle of wine with dinner, then ordered two pies to go at the discounted $4.99 each. Then we got the bill and I grabbed it to check and make sure they had discounted properly. They had forgotten to charge us for the pies, but had given us a $1 discount on each pie anyway. Wanting to be a good influence on the kids, my husband took the bill up to the front and told them it was wrong. After 5 minutes of the manager and the waitress muttering, the manager thanked my husband for pointing it out and said she would just leave it. So they paid us $2 to take two pies. Can't beat that deal!
Oh, and no tin deposit! |
