wifi adapter for computer, connects to your RG-45 (network cable) port or USB port so you can have a wireless network connection. I don't like d-link stuff, but $3 is a minimal risk.

these are for computers or laptops without an RJ45 (network adaptor) on them (like my 1BM 600X P111 650MHz where i do all my posting from) so it gives you a network plug (RJ45) from a USB port i should have said USB-RJ45

Are you sure? From the ad, it looks like it provide ehternet connection from USB port.
This Airlink card does not provide any wireless capability. It's a USB wired ethernet card.
