Save up to 50% on some of the best shows ever to grace the small screen, courtesy of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
NOTE: This sale in many cases offers additional savings of $5 or $10 when you buy paired-up items, like a S1 together with a S2. Choose an item then scroll down to where it will says "BEST VALUE - BUY BOTH AND SAVE."
EDIT: Looks like they pulled all the $5/$10 combo discounts; at least I can't find them anywhere anymore- maybe they were only good thru Jan 31st or something........
EDIT 2: Re-- the combo discounts: they are still available, but you have to add to cart now to be able to see them. For instance, if you add 24 S4 & s5 to cart it will show in cart still as $35 each, HOWEVER 'Subtotal' will read out as $60. no mention is made that you are receiving a $10 discount, but it is there and for other combos too........
EDIT 3: Deal losing some of it's initial appeal. They've removed certain titles (24 S4) but added others (Shield S3) and less combo discounts seem to be available though if you poke around awhile you might come up with something.

I'm interested in the Futurama seasons. Is this a good price, or do they go on sale even cheaper at places like Best Buy, etc.?

I got every season of Futurama about a year or so at Costco for $20 per season, so slightly better than this deal. Usually each season goes for ~$30 - $35 so this is still a pretty good deal. You may be able to make it even better with the 'Buy both and save'.
Now that AD's fate is settled (Mitchell Hurwitz is either coming back and its moving to Showtime or its dead) and Futurama is coming back with 4 original straight to DVD movies (doesn't seem like a "buy more crap" scam) I say **** FOX and buy the bootleg (not really)

I bought the first season of Futurama over the summer at Bj's Wholesale club for $13.99. Most of Fox's first season TV dvds were this price and it did not seem like a sale. Not sure if they still have them.
thanks! picked up Simpsons Season 7 with some bandages to pick up free shipping.

Yeah, this is a good deal. Check under "Best Value" when you select 24 season 3 or 4 and it should have an option to get both at an additional $10 off.
I already had Season 3 so I picked up Season 4 only, but still a great deal.
Huge YMMV on that CostCo deal anyway, since they sell out so incredibly fast when they go on sale, if the B&M location even has them to begin with. Occasionally you will find Season One for $14.99, but he other seasons rarely go on sale. This is about as good as it gets.

I was hoping to get the OC Season 2 for 1/2 off.. I got Season 1 from Costco when they had it on sale, had a $10 coupon AND and $10 rebate.. came out to be about $20. I guess I'll have to see if they do that for Season 2...
from the list of available stuff the only ones I don't have are Lost in Space and Mash.. decent prices if you don't already have them..

No "My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss"!!!! The most insightful, revealing, hard-core, show ever produced on American TV is not available??? I smell a conspiracy.
I don't understand why people buy entire TV seasons of shows. It's not like you're going to watch them over and over.

Well, you go rent it for 4.50 ea for 6 DVDs at Blockbuster for 27 bucks, while we can own it and shared it with friends and family for $30. You do the math, genuis.
Exactly! I used to do NetFlix but at $20/month and the speed that they were arriving (extra slow) it wasn't worth it. Decided that for $20/month I would treat myself to a season of my fave show. That was what I was renting through them anyway.
And yes, some of us do watch certain shows over and over again!

I have already watched Arrested Development (season 1 & 2) at least 2x completely through. A show like that is classic.
The truly great shows you do watch over and over and over...
Millennium...
The Prisoner...
The Twilight Zone...
Etc...
The good stuff NEVER gets old.

They use some strange math at Amazon. If you buy each of the sets of Family guy seperately, it totals $25+$25+$20 = $70 (50%). But then they offer the bundle of all three volumes for $92 (35% savings) Strange how they do things.
Anyways, thanks OP, in for each volume seperately

Are you kidding or just stupid? Family guy hit its peak last season, now it's not funny at all. They have gone the way of the simpsons. On the other hand, OC is still a good show, albeit trashy. I am sure you've never watched an episode and you are just saying crap to boost your self esteem though.

The OC started out good, but now it's become way to soap-like predictable. Some times you have to pay the price with the wife though, she loves it.

as far as law and order dvd's i have good luck on eBay getting them cheap...so far i have not paid more than 25.00 shipped, and that is a high amount. they are sealed and new. i got one for around 11.00 shipped. WalMart has a lot of season one boxed sets for 19.88. i saw the shield, buffy, angel, mash, curb your enthusiasm, murder one, and a lot of others. they are in a free standing display near their electronics departments. beats the deals at Amazon for the same sets.
