My experience with UPS is that they always re-scale packages and adjust rates acoordingly. For sure no packages will be returned to you because of weight.

Description on RS www says it measures up to 10 lbs.
A simple solution for weighty matters. This USB electronic scale weighs items up to 10 lbs., displays weight, estimates shipping cost and populates weight fields on major shipping websites. It's ideal for small business use and anyone who sells frequently on Internet auction sites. USB-powered so there's no batteries or additional power supply required. Sleek, low-profile design.

Even though the description says 10lbs; It'll measure up to 19lbs just fine. Don't ask why, cause I don't know.
I want to RS to pick it up today. I asked the clerk about this sclae, he told me some bastards (in Cerritos, CA) picked up FIVE last night. He asked me how many I want, I told him just one.
I am like, why do you need FIVE of these??? Unless you plan to fleabay these? Greedy sobs whoever you are buying a lot of these, makes the rest of us just want 1 cant' get any.

Yes, they do re-weigh them. I have NEVER had them return $ to me, it's always the other "weigh" around.

I ship FedEx a lot, and one in ten packages will have some extra lines in the billing section for "audit" and extra charges because I once again tried to underestimate the weight.

"Disclaimer: DO NOT exceed the weight capacity of your scale. If you do, it may damage the scale sensor and cause permanent damage to the scale."
I'll check out RS later

Well, after reading the warning I don't think I'll be putting any bricks on it... It DOES weigh 19lbs; but might only do that a couple of times before it decides to stop working...

since it doesn't seem like there's a display on the scale, so it'll be software only. Anyone know if I can use more than one at a time on a PC? I'd like to have four, so I can balance my R/C car properly by placing one under each wheel.
I work with coins...going to the tenth of a gram is great. Also, for those small shipping items for the fleabay! Thanks!

You'll probably need 4 PC's to do this since the software will probably only read the weight from 1 scale at a time.
nemesisdb said: Anyone know if this will work with stamps.com software?
It only seems to work with online apps; the software can auto-fill webpages, but it won't work with application based services like stamps.com or Encidia.
The scale works OK, but the software seems a bit flaky. If I leave it plugged in, but boot up, and then try to use it later in the day, it rarely works. If I kill the task via task manager, then restart the program, it will reintialize and work fine.
It seems to be quite accurate. It has saved me a bunch of time, as I can now use click-n-ship and have the postman pick up packages at the door.
Just grabbed one and fired it up, works real well! It seems to be built well, doesn't have a lightweight cheap feel at all. The software's nice, it has a handy weight convertor. Haven't tried the online auto fill yet, but it doesn't seem to have an option for the paypal shipping program, but then I haven't explored thaose functions yet.
If you do much shipping, I'd hop on this one (but only if you weigh ten pounds or less).
I'm going back to get a second one for our kitchen 'puter.

Also, the labels are actually rounded edges, less prone to peeling.
The DHL Use only is on the paper half, not on the label
BTW, if you order 25 labels, they'll still send you a ream...
Can you give me the item number of that label? Thanks
Pretty sure it's Form 1239.
Yep. Ordered yesterday, just arrived. Now that's service
