Just received this offer in mail (Salt Lake City) for comcast high-speed internet for $19.99 per month for 12 months ($29.99 for non-cable subscribers). No rebates. Offer directly from Comcast. Glad to see the DSL competition is starting to make these offers better. Comcast 1-800-369-9289. Hope they offer this in other markets as we will be moving in several months out of state. I checked and didn't see that this 12 month Comcast direct deal has been posted. My apologies if it is redundant.

That's a great deal.

But, i bet your area has some serious competitions... perhaps FIOS ?
Unfortunately, all we have is Qwest, which is a joke.

I am in the SF Bay Area and the promo card I received in the mail is $29.99 for one year.

Holy smokes, that's less that $2.50 a month!

I would suggest jumping all over that

He probably means $30 a month for a year.

Would be nice if we could exploit the actual typos <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border=0>

looks like its YMMV like all comcast promotions

can you post a scan of the mail please? I'm in the area and my previous promotion ends this month. Thanks.

If you could post the Offer Code from the Comcast mailer you got that would be great.

I don't know how to post the scan of the offer. I also didn't realize the moderators reopened this post but I'm glad they did since it is a uniquely different special over the 6 month deals. If someone can tell me how to upload the scan or has a way to host it I will send it to them, so others can download it. I didn't see any special code number so you could probably just call and say you got the postcard in the mail with the offer.

what about cable tv deals for Atlanta <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border=0>

any possible deals for Dallas? i see the 29.99 for 6 months but is there a possible 29.99 for a year? Cuz that would be SWEET!! - alvinmathew88

No, not unless you have FIOS option then they might give you that deal.

Thanks OP. I called comcast and told them I am planning to move to Verizon. They offered me 29.99 for one year without cable tv. I accepted as it is a very good deal for me.

I am in Maryland.

I put it at flickr and named it comcast offer, but unless logged in I couldn't find it by doing a search for "comcast offer." Perhaps there is a delay in it showing up in the search. It is a black and white scan of the entire postcard. No code offer or number on it. It was made public on the site.

The fine print is unreadable on the offer. Does it mention anything about only new customers?

New customers or those who haven't had the High-speed internet service in the last 60 days.

Any chance that you could scan it again with a bigger file so that the fine print can be read?
I'd like to print it and take it to a Comcast office.
Thanks,

My Comcast HSIA just jumped up to 42.95 a month as I just finished a $29.99 promotion. I called them this morning & they offered $34.95 a month for 12 months. I declined. I called back 4 hrs later & asked if they had any promotions. They offered $29.99 a month for 12 months. I took it.

You guys notice there are many 800 Numbers for Comcast????

1-800-COMCAST
1-866-251-9858
1-800-369-9589

Why don't you try to call the last two, see if it makes any different?

I really hope this drives down FiOS prices. I will be signing up for FiOS come August.

BTW, OP, could you PLEASE VERY VERY PLEASE re-scan and re-post a clearer image of the Ads!

Thank you sooo very much... if not, PM me, I can do it!

Or maybe the picture at Flickr is already larger than the "static" link you sent to us.
The default size is pretty small, but they store different sizes at Flickr.com.
Instead of right-clicking and sending that link, how about sending the URL of the page where you see the picture? If there are other sizes, there will be a "All Sizes" option there.

I called up Comcast here in Atlanta to return my modem as I'd gotten my own. didn't know it til today when I got my bill but the nice CSr put me on 19.99/mo for 6mo without me even asking.

>>>
But there is a deal for $19.99/mont for 6 months in FW store page itself. with $75 CashBack and free modem. For New and current non-HS customers.

Don't forget to request that they credit you the 9.00 s/h fee. They will not do this normally with just a cancellation of the modem.

They are regional I believe!!

Okay. Try this for a larger version of the comcast offer at Flickr. Offer expires 3/15/06. If this doesn't work then I've also asked one of the repliers to upload it and post how to get the larger version.

Larger Scan: http://static.flickr.com/53/107613919_13a2a1e16e_b.jpg

This version when printed was legible on my printer, but the whole offer didn't appear on the page do to its size.

Here is an even larger/color version. This should work:

If you move the mouse cursor over the image to the bottom right corner a little box appears that if then click it will enlarge the image further.

Comcast HSI $19.99/month for 12 months

That is a fabulous deal. I just renewed with Comcast (I was on the $19.99 six month promotion and it just ended for me). I was going to cancel...and then the guy, after a while, finally offered me their Speed Tier Package (up to 8 in speeds and in downloads, he said) for $29.99 a month for 12 months. I took it.

I also asked if he could give me any good Comcast cable deal (I am already a subscriber) and he offered me their Digital Package with the HD receiver for $45 a month total for 12 months (this is the same price that I was paying for their regular cable without digital or the HD box)...so now I got digital cable, a HD box and cable internet for $75 a month. This is in the SLC area as well.

Any deal for the Boston area? My HSI bill suddenly went up to $43 so I called back to see what happened. The noservice rep said my $29.99 6 months offer had ended. I told him I was on it for 12 months but he refused to do anything saying there's no current special offer.

did u call 1800-comcast? did u speak to a representative or went to retentions? who did u speak to and who gave u the deal thanks.

FWIW - I'm moving to a new place (SF Bay area) so I'd be a new customer. The reps here don't give you the best deals -- you have to have researched online what their current online promotions are and ask for them. When I tried asking for the $29.99/12 months that someone posted earlier, they said I needed a direct sales number to get it, not the general 1-800 COMCAST number and wouldn't honor that. Guess my plan is to go with the current $24.95/3 months and see if I can get a better deal than $42.95/month when that ends....

Just called 1-800-COMCAST and told the rep that I have been with Comcast for several years and paid a lot of money for her "bonus", such and such..., well she gave me $29.99 for the next 12 months.

Promotional offer in Atlanta? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border=0>

That's the current deal until the end of the month for retention... But it seems that just mentioning FIOS does wonder. VERY nice, and did this deal twice, one for me and one for dad.

3 offers available (at least in NJ):

$29.99 x 12 months at 6Mbps
$29.99 x 6 months at 8Mbps
$19.99 x 6 months at 6Mbps

In April, new offers will be out, but there's no saying in what they'll have until then...

The 1st one is the best bang for the buck. They supposedly check to see if you haven't have any offers in 6 months. I was able to jump on one after letting two cycles pass by (was shot down after the first billing cycle).

I'm not sure what you guys being rejected are doing wrong. I called 1-800-COMCAST, I was *already* on a promotional plan for $19.99 a month.. However, I had the CSR switch me to the 8MB package with no questions asked, I just kept saying Verizon's FiOS was faster. Heh, FYI I don't even have FiOS in my area =p
