Don't know if this just started today, but I was at NY Whitestone Toys'R'Us store buying diapers and saw signs stating that all green dots are 90% off. This includes bicycles. I picked up a couple of clearance items including some bikes for the little ones.. I saw there are at least 8 bikes on display with green tags on it...
Based on the past TRU experience, these are national clearance events so I don't think this is YMMV although different regions may have a different clearance items.
Will update later with specifics of the clearance items.

Can anyone confirm if the sale is going on the West coast too? Looks like its not on the BAY area, how about OR, WA? It pretty much looks like a East Coast deal
I"ve had confirmation that it's nationwide. The problem is that this is Clearance stuff, and many stores (actually most stores) don't have their stuff marked. Yea, they have a small section of Green Tagged items, but there's much more potential in the unmarked items.
I recommend going into your store and starting to scan items that others have found. It's the best way to find the items.

edit: Maybe our store just didn't have the stuff marked yet. They seemed a bit understaffed.

From my experience with last years sale, many items never get marked. They can't keep up with it or something, I don't know. But I visited stores all over the east coast last spring and summer (while on vacation) and most of my finds weren't marked. The employees don't even know that this stuff is clearanced, since the pricing is changed by corporate. Yea, there's a master list of the items, but most of the time it's ignored (and it's 20+ pages long last I saw it).
Also, some of the clearances are regional. Something that I paid $.24 for last summer, was $.68 at another store. Not sure why that is, but it is.
Since there seem to be many nation wide deals, and they may or may not be marked, is there any way this thread can be turned into a rolling thunder thread. That would help in keeping an up to date list of clearanced items on page 1. Just a thought ...

Nope, confirmed in Yuma AZ which is on Californian border.
Nothing much thou, at least not marked.
Did pick up a Trivial Pursuit 90's Time Capsual edition (and it was an undamaged tin ) for $3 Plush toy for under a dollar and some Fiji film 200 (2 or so in a pack) - for $1.10

Any confirmation on the west coast. I remember in previous TRU clearance madness, either it came to CA well after the east coast or not at all.

Just wanted to bump this up as I have been told by a few managers that the 90% off ends Saturday (5/6/06). Everything that is left will be trash compacted.
Burnsville, MN is LOADED yet. Spent 4 hrs there today and we had 5 carts overflowing. Left a lot of it there. I went yesterday for an hour and pulled 9 carts full of stuff from the reg priced shelves (no green tags on them) over to the 90% off section. The 90% off section is in the back of boys by the spiderman stuff.
