CrazyRus said: eb50 said: man.. really hoping for a rebel xt deal
How much are you hoping to buy it for? I also would like to get one, but I'm not sure how much I'm ready to pay (max).
Insert time machne - Last week the xt Rebel With lens ran for ~770 or so @ Dell. I bit on it a year ago for about the same...
That's where I would draw the line personally - no more than ~800, but plan to spend at least another $150 on a 'learner' telephoto lens (70-200mm). Unless, of course, you are ready for something more..
(Kit lens is not bad, but it's primarily a close range lens - not an action / sports type lens)
Hope it helps... Rob

Hey genius... if I list the site, the thread gets locked. They filter out the name anyway. Learn something before you start rattling off.

Doesn't seem to be working for the A620 anyways. I put in the coupon and nothing worked. Still shows up 349 in my cart and I didn't bother with the 35 off 300 if that part doesn't even work.
Thanks for all of the informative 20 posts you gave us in the past 2 years. Most of which were you complaining in this thread.

I am entering another door now, slickdeals, a far more better site with true deals.
Oh, no. Please don't go. Who else can make me laugh.

So much for 'instant delivery' on some of the eBay auctions. Factor that in before jumping on the deal. Awesome prices though, thanks for the heads up OP.

Yeah, I stick with a select few sellers because of those issues. Never helps when the coupons don't come in time, almost rather pay a little more.

anyone knows if there are any coupons that can work under SD550?
If you are hoping for a Rebel XT, I would highly consider getting it at Costco w/ lens for $799. Link
That return policy can be very convenient for a nice camera like this. If you don’t think you are getting your money’s worth, or even if an amazing deal appears at Dell, you could always return it.
Nothing is really going to beat the amazing AR deals we saw last year for a while (I bought a Rebel XT w/ lens and iP6600D printer for $681AR), but if I needed a Rebel XT now, I would probably buy from Costco.

try cutting and pasting the coupon code again at check out. The sd500 is still coming out to be $279.20 before $35 off 100 w/ free shipping. I'm getting charged tax so I didn't bite on this deal.

I think something is screwey with Dell today. Whenever I clicked to Dell from the FatCash link, I wasn't able to apply %-off coupons (Specifically, my 25% off 24" LCD monitor). If I opened a new browser and went to Dell directly, I had no problem.
Can anyone else verify this problem?

First I need your coupon to test it with.
The 2405FPW is a very nice monitor.

Confirmed, when going through FatCash for the s80 and sd500:
"We're sorry, the coupon code you have entered has already expired or has reached the maximum redemption limit."
when NOT going through FatCash, the coupon works..
WTF?

Yes, it's Dell Home, just make sure you use the link from the Dell Home page on FatWallet.I'm suspect about Dell these days. They screwed me out of Fat Cash on my purchase of Rebel XT + accessories last October. I even documented it by entering notes and everything at the time. Cost me about $30 that I should have gotten which Dell denied and FW wasn't able to help for whatever reason.
