I just want to double check what I read. I have an older Nokia 8260 with current/active Cingular service. Can I buy the Nokia 3220 and use it with my existing Cingular service? From what I read it sounds like all I need to do is swap the 'sim' card from my Nokia 8260 into the Nokia 3220? Is swapping the 'sim' cards easy and will my n8260 'sim' card be compatible with the n3220? I dont even think I have to notify Cingular about this change? TIA!!
but i think 8260 doesnt have the sim card... if 8290 ..it works yup....all u need pay $30 for the 3220 and put the 8290 sim into the new 3220
ok ..so what should i do with the new pre paid sim card that they sent with an order? |

Thanks ... hmmm, in the mean time I was trying to find the 'sim' card on my 8260. It's not mentioned in the Users Guide and I am having a hard time finding it.
If your old phone is 8260, it doesnt have sim card..i thought u were talking about 8290 8260 AT&T carrier 8290 Pac Bell or Cingular |

Can anyone tell me how the Nokia 3220 compares with the Motorola v180? My wife has a v180 and it's often difficult to hear when it's ringing. Is it worth the upgrade to this phone or are they pretty comparable? |

Click here, then on $20 link at the right
If this qualifies, then how do we get to the phones from Cingular main page?
Click on "Phones and PDAs". Enter zip code. You get a page of phones that says "Today's Sale Phones".. next to it, it says "Pre-paid only phones". click on that.
Also, this phone is available:
Motorola V173 (Refurb) w/Pay As You Go for 39.99. Any comments on this one?
I'm in for a 3220 with FatCash.. and maybe another one from DealKing.. but FC seemed more straight forward. |

nokia last time i checked was a S40 phone, it is akin to the popular 3200 series.
it's pretty cool that you can load apps on it from all the S40 sources and play them. i got dopewars on my phone.
great for kids too. the buttons are kind of awkwards and its not a flip phone. it has kinda lame FLASHY LIGHTS

Looks like most people bought Nokia 3220. But I'll go for Sony Ericsson T290a. Think this is the best looking phone compare to others. Great deal. |
