Interesting how you can't find too much information on the luggage on the net. Even Wenger's own site doesn't have any details. My guess is that someone makes this luggage for Wenger in an attempt to pull some business from Victorinox who make excellent (and expensive) luggage.
Perhaps someone can post some 1st hand impressions and perhaps some details (like denier rating of the fabric) which is conspicously absent from the descriptions.
Apkesh, good find and thanks for taking the time/effort to post.
Nordstrom Rack, Downtown Seattle, has the charcoal gray or burgundy available. They will ship all over US--standard ground.

I just googled it and found the details of this item in the following site:

Thanks OP. Green for you!
What item number did you tell when you called Dulles Nordstrom?
I am not able to find out the item in their website.
I just called, asked for the luggage dept. Spoke to somebody there who transferred me to their assistant to take the order. I asked for the Wenger 4 piece luggage set. I didn't get an order number or anything. They just said it would arrive in 5-7 days.
I'm going to call tonight and make sure about the size of the luggage.

Can the OP confirm what peices were purchased...or even an item number from the reciept. If just 2 peices of luggage...not really all that great.
Thx for any help...B.
Yeah, that would suck. I'll call later and see exactly what sizes the luggage are. Thanks for the tip.

I just went to Nordstrom Rack here in Grand Rapids, MI and there is a 4 piece Wenger (Swiss Army) luggage set for $99.97 BUT it is does not say Lugano anywhere. It is the St. Croix set # SA8322. My store had it in red, black, and grey. UPC for the grey set: 721427523490 Nordstrom item #SA8233404.
This set comes with 2 pullman, a small duffle and a REALLY small zippered sack. The set at Amazon and Overstock says 3 pullman. I don't think it is the same luggage as the OP states, at least not in my store. I am not able to find anything on the S. Croix set to compare pricing.
I have other Wenger luggage have really liked it. Comes with a 5 year warranty.

This is the only thing I was able to find on it. Is it this set?

Yes, eBay #6621962967 is the same set. Auction details give sizes and descriptions.
Downtown Seattle's set is a 25' vertical pullman, 21" pilot, 15" tote and 13" 'kit for toiletries. Ask for luggage in the men's department. Phone: 1 206 448 8522.
Same Wenger St.Croix set in Denver. Looked pretty cheap. 25", 21" and 2 duffle bag types. Too bad it is not the Lugano. I passed on this one.

My wife also confirmed the San Leandro set is the St. Croix with 2 pullmans and 2 bags. She said the quality seemed good to her. We're going to pick it up, in part because the zippered expandability is a nice feature for us.

I've just been to Nordstrom Rack here in OC CA, "Yes" it is the same as the item on eBay. I'll pass on this one. Looks cheaply built. It would look like the ones being sold on Swap Meets had not been for the Red Cross (Swiss logo). I bought a 30" duffel bag by Jansport instead. The material is really thick, made by Dupont.

It is not the same model as the OP's link to Amazon. The one on Amazon is Lugano, The one being sold is so much different. Refer to another post with a link to eBay. Pls correct your link OP. I've just been to Nordstrom Rack.
gambitx said: Not sure if it was the same model, but was just getting on a flight this morning and saw someone with some swiss army luggage. I was thinking to myself that was a nice looking suitcase. Of course, it also looked brand new, which might have been part of it too...

Another confirmation re: the St. Croix line...this time in the DFW area.
Though, they did have a single Victorinox 24" wheeled Large Cruiser (Lingo line) for $129 in the Hurst store. Unless they were hiding other ones in the back, they're now out, since I bought it.

Was going to get it (Lugano) but since it's the St Croix, I'm out.

realcheapo said: Very good price. It's made by Wenger. If it were by Victorinox, it would have been a steal.
Fortunately Victorinox bought Wenger so even if you do buy their stuff you are not screwing up too bad. Even so, I wouldn't but anything Wenger.

In my last few months with Timberland, I was told the manufacturing of their luggage was made by the same firm as Victorinox, TRG Accessories.

I'm looking at two red sets from the San Andreas Store, there were 4 left. Quality seems really good to me, although it's a downside that there are only 2 rollers.

I think the set is also called Swiss Gear St. Croix. It's label says "from the same company that makes Swiss Army knives".
They had burgandy and red at the Shaumburg, IL(Chicago) Nordstrom Rack. The quality is good, not excellent. The look of the luggage is solid though. They had about 7 sets left.
I don't recommend ordering it. I would inspect the luggage, in particular, the zipper for the big suitcase(since the rest of the luggage is locked into it). The zipper teeth can easy be broken. It is a basic zipper, not a large toothed zipper. Also, inspect the stitching. Some of the suitcases had sloppy stitching in my opinion, though not so bad as to compromise the sturdiness/durability of the luggage.
I picked the set in the best condition. Nordstrom Rack has a 1 month return policy and all the tags must be on the luggage still. I plan to inspect it better in the next couple days.
From initial inspection, I would give it a 7/10 in quality. 8.5/10 looks wise. Wish I could get black or charcoal colored though, but red is fine.

Confirmed in AZ - but only two rollers so we decided to pass for now...
Received ours today (4/20--that's 2 day shipping via DHL). I am extremely pleased with the quality although wish the smallest piece were larger. It's a keeper.

I saw two different people with red Swiss Army roller bags on my flight today. I almost said to one person, 'Fatwallet?' but didn't. I'll betcha, though...

Great deal.
I'm looking for a black one or grey, but all the stores around the DC area only carry the red set
Anyone knows a store that might have it in black and can ship it?
Please let me know.
Thanks
