Western Digital Hard Drives (not purchased as part of a retail hard drive kit) WD Prot�g� EIDE hard drives carry a Standard Warranty Period of one (1) year. This is an excellent hard drive and gets outstanding reviews. Just as an FYI, Newegg has the this same hard drive for $90, plus $4.99 for 3 day shipping. It may be cheaper than the Outpost deal for those of us that don't live in states that Newegg taxes, plus the shipping is quicker.
Have it at zipzoomfly oem version w/ 3 year warranty for 89.99 as well. free ship better deal for people who are not ebayers and don't need retail packaging to make them happy.

Newegg link.It was $90 with free shipping last friday at newegg -- almsot bought, but decided to hold out for better. may come back again.
