Another clearance SLR lens offer for you FatWallet camera people.
I just picked up a Nikon Nikkor 70-300mm f4-f5.6 G AF lens for $100 (Reg $168) at the clearance section of my local WalMart. They had two in stock.
I will make a disclaimer that this lens is by no means to be compared with a top-of-the-line zoom lens. It is however a basic telephoto lense for a very low price.
Most online sources (even the shady ones) are still pricing this well above this clearance price.

Ah, tis a sad day for me; I can't find any stores in my area (northern NJ) who have this. Most don't seem to know what I'm talking about. I looked for that Canon you posted earlier and one store had it but not on clearance. Thanks anyway, OP.

Yeah, none of the Walmarts near me had them either...Porter Ranch, Simi Valley, Oxnard, etc...

Same here. I didn't see anything at Sterling, virginia. They don't even carry lens.
