Until you ever try and get service with Dell nowadays. I think for all the headaches getting "service", I would just replace the bad part myself.

I have had pretty good luck with Dell customer service. I just tell them that I did whatever they ask me to and tell them that i am not interested in doing any more troubleshooting with them and tell them what they need to do .. works for me always.. I have had to contact Dell for service only a couple of times in the last 4-5 years.

And for $25, i will highly recommend it again .. u cant go wrong with $12.50/yr !!! whether u use their service or not ..

Agreed - if you are buying this for personal use this is a no brainer...
