These are a clearance item, HOWEVER, they weren't marked as clearance at the OM where I bought them. These were also located on a rack in the aisle next to the printer/copier paper instead of in the DVD/CD media aisle.

Another thing to note: on the OM website here they are listed as Style# DM00034XM, but on the label they are actually Style# DM00034X (no 'M' on the end).

The HP 8x DVD-R is CMC.MAG.AE1 which is identical to the Staples one on sale around this price a few weeks ago before $5 coupon. If you missed the Staples' deal. This one is reasonably good. I can even burn at 12x in my Benq DW-1620 with this media.
