this deal was posted on SD 3 weeks ago, but the item was not available at Amazon that time. i ordered this 3 weeks ago and it was shipped today.
for $35, this is a bargain. if you have any SLR or DSLR, this is a great bag.
description: Capacity: 1–2 SLRs, 3–5 lenses, flash and accessories Size (Interior): 11.5W x 6D x 7.75H in. / 29 x 15 x 19.5 cm Outer fabric: water-resistant 600D TXP™ and 600D TXP™ ripstop
I didn't see anyone say that it is better, just different. I have a few Lowepro bags myself and love them. After a few years of hard use they look just as good as the day I bought them. I prefer the backpack style myself but that is not for everyone.

I got one from a DEII deal back months ago for about 10$. Nice bag.

This is a good case, I recommend it. I keep my D70 with 18-70mm lens in it, along with my 70-300mm and my 50mm. There is room for my SB800 flash and charger as well. In the front pocket I can put in my USB reader.
200EG is a backpack. It is not bad if you prefer the backpack over shoulder pack.
IMHO, The 2400 is inferior to the LowePro. The biggest problem is that it has no zip for the top cover, not to mention that is not AW. Once you heavy camera and lenses loaded, you will see what I mean. I have the 2400 sitting in the closet.

I have a 200EG but I want a smaller single shoulder bag. I want the bag to hold my 20D + Canon 17-40(which is wide) + Canon 70-200 F/4 (which is long). And the bag should be helpful for frequent lens change. Are these two bags capable? Especially the 2400, which is smaller.

I'd get the lowepro nova 2 or 3 AW. I have the 3 and it is a fantastic bag, fairly small size but holds alot. Mine has a 10D, 17-40L, 70-200F4L, 50/1.4, tamron 90mm macro, sigma 20/1.8, and tokina 12-24. Plus a 420ex, extra batterys, cf cards and filters. It is great for lens changes as it hangs in the right location to change lenses without having to remove the bag.
The AW bags have a pull out attached rain poncho for when you get caught in heavy rain.
As to the backpack camera bags, they are great for taking all your gear to a location to shoot, but they suck for walking as you shoot. Everytime you have to change lenses, you have to remove the bag, find a clean, dry, safe spot to put it on the ground, open the bag, etc. They are horrible in busy cities as everytime you take them off you are susceptible to someone grabbing it and running. Also in crowded places, access to your equipment is always out of your sight while you are wearing it. I have a large tamrac backpack that really ends up being luggage for my gear. It contains all my lenses and my shoulder bag while on the plane and travelling to the hotel. It then sits in the hotel room while I am out shooting. For most people a shoulder bag is the best first bag.

Thanks for the info. Have you tried the Nova 2 to hold your body + 17-40 and 70-200? I don't want to put all my stuff in when shooting on street, just two lens and at most a flash. Seems the Nova 4 is too big though it is cheap.

It should fit fine. The 2 is 7.75" deep, the 3 is only 7.5" deep.
