Does anyone know what the firmness differences are between the plush and the pillowtop? Also what is the overall differences between the two. Thanks. |

qqdoris said:Can someone tell me how does these W beds compare to the Sealy Posturepedic?? I would love to order the pillow top bed, but not sure if it's any good. Any suggestions? TIA! There is an older thread (here) that goes through the pros and cons of the pillow top bed. What I chose to do was buy the Queen plush top and buy the feather bed and feather bed cover to go along with this. That way, I can take off the feather bed if I need to and I can replace it years down the road when (if) it flattens out. With the pillowtop, you can't easily do that. Also, the plush top plus the separate feather bed is lower cost than the pillow top.
Queen plush top set: $1075 Feather bed: $165 Feather bed protector: $45
Total: $1285 Total after coupon: ~$835
I recommend getting the feather bed protector even though it seems expensive. The main thing it does is to stop any feathers from poking through.
The queen pillow top set is $1450 before the discount. |

Well I went to Bedding Mart to look at the Simmons Mattresses and also to Furniture Row. The W beds we are getting are 825 coils ( queen size ) so I wanted to feel it before I can make my purchase. Just to let you guys know they also have 850 coils for queen size and its much better than the 825 coils. After looking at 850 coils its not easy to make the decision. Did anybody looked at the Simmons mattress and give any advice. Also there are couple of different types of top covers you can get. Can somebody please let us know what the top feels like. Thankyou in advance. |

Tamiiy said:Anyone have the or seen the City Scape Frame in person?? I was thinking about ordering one but I wanted to know if it was cheapo or nice.
I have this City Scape frame. Its basically the same, although the one I have is a little longer than the one you linked and holds one more photo. Both are made by UMBRA. The one you linked is available for $11 (before shipping) from UMBRA's online store.
I like it. Sits on my mantle with some travel photos in it, and we rearrange it occasionally. People see to stop and stare at it for a bit when they are in the house for the first time. Definitely is a conversation piece. The base is a thick plastic with grooves in a grid for the pics. The frames themselves are clear plastic, fairly thick and sturdy. It doesn't look overly expensive, but is not cheap either. With the right pictures, it looks very good. Like all good frames, it supports but doesn't overshadow the images.
I bought mine at a museum store in Washington, DC for probably $20 or so and thought it was worth that when I bought it. |

Thanks. I ordered the pillow top online. I called the 800 number, but the guy was too aggressive for my taste, so I gave the sale to the web site instead of him. |

Curious. For those that have ordered, are you ordering the set (mattress and box spring)? Are any of you planning on using just the mattress with a platform bed?
Thoughts? |

I have the Serta Stellaris in a Queen and I love it. I can't compare the two for you as I don't own a W mattress but I'm very satisfied w/ my Serta. Got it for $733 w/ box spring OTD.
The only complaint from the Mister is that it's tall. Which may be in fact due to the height of bed itself plus the full size box spring he wasn't use too w/ the fluffy new pillowtop. All that said... he sleeps like a rock on it. |

Sorry for the stupid question, but what is the difference between a W Hotel and a Westin Hotel?
Also, anyone have a clue when this code expires? |
