I bought one of the W beds several years ago. It's not a very high quality unit, and after two years is lumpy and has a ridge in the middle. The bed I got at costco for less is much nicer. My .02.

thanks for posting this. The price is a little more than the other mattress we are considering (Original Mattress Factory), but the luxury had me tempted. I think sturdy and boring might be more our speed...

I wish I could smile. Recently ordered one, and got a crappy product, sinks to the point of giving bad backache in a night.
W Hotels has no phone customer service at that number, just a recording, when I tried many times. You can leave message and number to call back but they do not call back
They respond to email and absolutely refuse to take back returns pointing to their site What a crappy product. I got taken like some others. No recourse to get a refund. I am willing to take some hit on shipping and otherwise but no go with email CSRs CSRs claim if you accepted it you cannot return. But There is not a way to know if product is acceptable without accepting and unwrapping and trying out even briefly.
Maybe credit card dispute ? Absolutely stay anyway from this company.
Will spend some time now to make others aware, having spent considerable time trying to amicably work some solution with the CSRs
Sorry if someone happened to read this in other thread as well. I wish I had heeded to others' warnings I just do not want to give up on ~800 bucks for nothing.
Good News! That's really what my CC company letter said at the start, when they finally wrapped up lengthy investigation on W Hotels incident and refunded me in full!
I am now afraid to follow "jump in first think later" phiosophy of FW users, atleast goig by my W Hotels experience. How a company that ships junky product, has no humans to answer, no proper guidsance via email, refusal to do anything about the issue have happy customers. At best they have certain percentage of bad pirces that they just push down on some (unlucky me!) and do have some good pieces that some others report -- or this is a major scam. I will try to believe the former just to give them the benefit of doubt -- just hard to do that -- given the tons of exchanges and detailed records I maintained about them now.
I appreciate your repsonse - my point was really that there is no deal here. Anyone can navigate to this Web site and buy at these prices. I also think their stuff is overpriced.
