How in the world did you guys get DVD Empire to let you use Google Checkout.
I've tried putting all kinds of DVDs in my cart, and it stilll comes up with Google Checkout "not available"

That link goes to Starbucksstore.com and I don't see a recharge option there. I don't know if starbucks.com is accepting google pmts. |

Although the DVD empire coupon is great, it doesn't seem they accept Google Checkout. |

Go to: http://checkout.google.com/ and sign-up.
Then,
1. To find stores that accept Google Checkout, search Google, look for this shopping cart icon in sponsored links: "Google Checkout icon" 2. Do your shopping, find the items you want to buy, and add them to your cart. 3. When you're ready to complete your purchase, click the Google Checkout button
Done! |

Tried checking out at CD Universe, got the following from Google:
Oops! CD Universe has sent Google a shopping cart with errors in it. We'll contact them to ask that they fix this problem. If you're feeling lucky, you can go back in your browser and try to checkout again with your fingers crossed.

Also note- Terms under the Citi promotion state: "All statement credits, Dividend Dollars, and ThankYou Points will be posted 2-3 billing cycles after the promotional end date of September 15, 2006."
So it may take a while for the points to show up. |

Are you a Citi® cardmember? If so, register your Citi Card to get $5 or 1000 ThankYouSM Points the first time you use Google Checkout.
(this isn't bad if you already have the cards and the thank you program...)

For the Citi promotion, I think you have to sign up through the link on the main page. I logged in to the Checkout signup form and didn't see the Citi note, then logged out and logged out thru the link - sure enough, the Citi promotion was listed. |

Just got the DVD Empire $10 off to work... the trick is to not login to DVD empire, add a dvd to your cart (Gimme Shelter Criterion DVD is $21 shipped after $10 coupon! + I get $5 back from citi rewards.. Woot!) - then click on the checkout with google link (it wont be grayed out b/c you didnt log in to dvd empire), then their is a link for the coupon code, and it takes $10 off when entered.... |

how did you get free shipping?
You qualify for free shipping with an order of at least 3 eligible DVDs (those marked with "eligible for free shipping"). Then at checkout, you can choose your shipping method. Standard is the last option, and it's free. |
