Questions about how the repricing works...

Anyone know if there's something encoded in the price that will determine if the price can drop again?

I see 50 and 75% off items ending in values of $X.48 and X.98. I had thought that there was some way to tell aside from the $.99 should be full, $.48 should be 50% and $.24 should be 75%.

I ask because something I've been watching at 50% has been at that price for at least three weeks. I figured it should drop any day. But, today was the scheduled drop day and nothing it still sits at 50%. I assume that the price changes happen in the computer and then get updated by the repricing crew. (crap I should asked for a PDT scan...) Someone I was talking to seemed to imply that the price doesn't change until the repricing crew gets to the items. I can see that for the sticker, but in the system?

I just don't want this item to go from 50% to salvage in one jump because I want the item. The good thing is there's tons of stock on this worthless accessory item at a lot of stores here.

yesterday i saw the j&j soothing naturals at $1.98 and used the $1 off coupon and the deal became sweet for just 98c.
it had additional small size pack along with it.
j&j buddies shampoo was also on sale for the same price.

Just hit 2 local stores - Patio furniture / Firebowls are @ 75% off confirmed, of course, not much left. Looks like mine have started to reset, as a good portion of what was there last week (non-seasonal) has been restocked on the 'regular' shelves & the tags removed...

I wish the firepits at my Target were on clearance. Only the Tiki furniture and fire pit is marked down. The rest of the firepits are regular price.
